You're gonna get raped trying to sell it all at once. You've got what, maybe $6000 worth of games there? Nobody is going to shell out a huge chunk of cash for that many games at once.

You'd be lucky to get $10 a game selling them in a bundle.

Wholesale you'd be lucky to get $8 per game on average. I think you'd be lucky if you get $1000 for it that way.

I would list them all seperately to make the most money. It might take you a few hours to list all the games, but you'll get the best price. Some of them go used for almost full retail. Someone buying your lot won't play 1/2 those games...so they aren't going to bid for them.

Any time I've sold lots, I've been disappointed with the results. Any time I've bought a lot and split it up, I've made more than I expected to make.

A lot of the non-current sports games aren't worth anything either.

I think you can pick up some of the Madden games for under $7 retail at Gamestop, which means they are paying out about $.50 on some titles.

Start the auction for a penny and offer free shipping but set a reserve you can live with. If you sell them separately it is going to be a bitch to keep track of all the auctions plus you will have a lot of listing fees.

I usually start to trade in games once i get a collection of about 10 or whatever. I only seem to play MW2 and Fifa 10 anyway lol...

Not much purpose in trading his entire system in if he is just going to get a credit at a game store. He wouldn't be selling everything if he just wanted to buy more games.

Depends on the location of the store. Some give cash, but it's generally about 20% less than they would give you in store credit.

Taking your games to trade is a last resort, desperation move. You're going to get jacked.

Sell the games seperately. Or go to Amazon.com they have a trade in program for a lot of those games.

Yeah. Ditto to this. When you think about the ebay fees, paypal fees, shipping, etc I think the fairest and easiest way is to take it down to Gamestop or EB games and see what they will give you.

I've never done it myself, but I am pretty sure they will give you cash / not store credit. I've seen people going in and coming out of there like its a pawn shop.

I'm going against the grain and saying list the whole thing at once. List it as a BIN with the best-you-can hope for price, and use the "make an offer" feature. You can decline or ignore any and all offers.

So you aren't out anything but your listing fees to give it a shot that way.

Then if that doesn't pan out, try other methods.

And that's all they are worth. No one is going to pay shit for Madden 08. Madden 11 will be out in 3 months. I can go to wally world and get something like Bioshock for $20 brand new still the the package. You're not going to get $20 for something that not factory sealed I don't care if you never played it at all. And Ebay buyers are looking for deals so even if it was factory sealed you still couldn't get $20 for it. Then you have to subtract all the ebay fees. As I say go to amazon.com and use the trade-in option for those games that you can. A lot less bullshit that trying to sell on e-bay.

I think that trading into Gamestop would be a HUGE mistake. What's gonna happen is that they're gonna pay you USED prices to take them off your hand when you have BRAND NEW SEALED games, that increases their value a whole lot, especially when selling on Ebay.

hmm, I would pay a college kid to make the auctions for me and list them all separately from $1 with no reserve. Just set the end time to a Sunday at around 6pm your time. See how it goes. You can add some of the cheapest games to the console (like 5-6 of them) so the buyer will feel like he's getting a bonus with the used console.
anyway, that's how I would do it.
