Product Placement In Porn Videos

I have seen t-shirts from website A being worn by girls from website B in a video, but do companies like Fleshlight or other sex toy companies promote their items in other people's videos?

How big of a sub-industry is this?

Mainstream is doing it left and right and it seems like there are alot of non-conflicting products which would be adult friendly.

The quick simple answer it's not a big market. Many people talk about it but it just isn't a big market.

hmmm maybe it would work better in niche markets. in rubber/latex fetish you have the sometimes amazing cos-play outfits but do they give them a link credit at the end of the video?

i also wonder if there is a mainstream product that would do adult advertising without fear of backlash, seems like there would be some cross over possibilities.

Call me weird... but when I'm watching Phoenix Marie gag on a cock, I really don't notice much else.

I often see brand names on TV blanked out on cups, t-shirts ect So I guess if its about just getting your brand name out it must have some sort of impact even if the watcher is not specifically looking for your brand it must register that they have seen the brand somewhere

I'v never noticed ANY product placement on porn videos. But you raised quite a good question, I don't see why it shouldn't work once millions of people watch these videos...

Sex machines and sex toys are some of the products in porn videos.

but thats the best product placement.

i mean, they can place products in tv shows, films and so on, and you do not notice but its proved that it registers on your sub consiouse.

its a thought that if a firm paid you for product placment in a shoot, these films could be put out as free content on tube sites.

that is exactly the point, you might still get your video ripped off but now the tubes are advertising a product you got paid for and that product is getting seen on one video maybe 50k times a day.

almost seems silly not to do adverts like that. hell, coca cola could have their own "porn unit" (officially unconnected of course) and make a thousand porn videos that have people drinking cokes, wearing shirts etc. and make sure they are pirated! hahaha

I don't see why product integration could not be used in adult videos' production.

The problem might be that there aren't mainstream advertisers with enough balls to go for it, and advertising another adult product may create an issue with the videos licensees.

For example; licensee A may not be happy that you can see what appears to be a non competing adult product in the video they are streaming, because when you go to the product's website, you also have access to other contents offering that may be in direct competition with licensee A (As there is a high level of cross selling and up selling in our industry).

Very true. It would practically be limited to an adult studio who wouldn't least X amount of videos and do placement on those videos. I can think of a few large companies who could also just sell their products totally in house in their own videos.

Mainstream does get a little dicey, in the U.S. kind of tricky, but in Europe for instance i am positive you could find large companies who would advertise in adult videos.
