you do realize that WMC is going to fuck everyone right? There is a 90 day "Void After" date that they are going to wait and push for. Even if everything is cleared up today, don't be surprised if you hear sometime in August that you can cash them.

Why? Well shit, they have thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in checks that were issued out. If only a small % of those people don't cash the checks they make out like bandits.

WMC wouldn't make out like bandits. That money would go back to the program/site it belongs to.

That doesn't even make practical sense. They would reissue the checks or lose any remaining business they would have. Not to mention they could probably be sued by any clients that they did this to.

Knowing that several gov agencies are all over their shit, I wouldn't cash it if they gave me a 100% bonus on top.

a check issued in your name and address even if you didn't cash it?

Well a investigator might think that the reason you didn't cash the check is because
you knew "what was up" and knowingly joined in on it and now you're trying to hide
because all the "innocent people" who knew nothing were actually contacting the
cops because they felt ripped off when their checks bounced. :1orglaugh

We where just requested further information regarding payments we issued through webmasterchecks and it's my understanding that the DoJ is going through each individual transaction done by WMC.

You may as well burn your checks to at least get some value out of them. Heat.

I know a little bit more than most on the subject, the summary is : don't hold your breath for affiliates: cheques to be cashed, sponsors: funds to be released, or WMC to return emails unless it's via your attorneys..

The answer is that currently all checks issued by WMC are worth horseshit.
