Something bad happen recently? Some people praise them like no other.

I'd prefer to catch the plague.

never had a problem with choopa, but then again i also dont need someone to hold my cock while i piss..

I mean seriously, I can't think of a worst support team. One guy is working on the problem cause my server is down, so as I sit waiting for the ticket to get fixed so my sites gets back online, that person leaves. So I have to actually AIM someone who had no idea what was going on, for him just to tell me he'd have to re-examine the server.

Get to da choopa.

You must have got one of the foreign morons. Sascha will tell them to bump you up to an American tier 1 support level. We will then maneuver German tactics if the support level isn't satisfactory.

i have no problem with choopa..

the last couple of ticket i have submitted have been answered in a few minutes.. both are recent.. if i call them they take care of it right away.. but normally a ticket it good enough for me.

and my server has been up for over 3 months... and last time the took it down was just to upgrade member..

This server is pushing just 50 megs.. and has a small load on it.. and no problems ( but it configured really well, php+ options, transcoding, memcache, mysql with some large db.. and much more..

Call me crazy .... but to have to ask to be bumped to an "American tier 1 support level" sounds kinda strange.

Choopa runs a very tight ship. I know the owners personally and they are very proactive when it comes to fixing issues. I think if you're having issues you should probably e-mail them first before being nasty to them on the boards. You'll probably get your issues resolved alot quicker.

Been with them over a year and never had any problems. They have above and behond to help me with anything. Can't beat the price at $199.00 for 100mbps server.

thanks, but don't assume to know how i went about handling this. I bet I sent 50 reply emails to the ticket, many of went unanswered. I had 3 support people in 3 hours and emailed the senior tech, and andy.

so fuck off.

oh, i do want to point out that Frank over at Choopa IS their life-line. Best person I've ever dealt with from a hosting company.

we just got a server with them. same day set up and no one can beat their 100mbps price. other companies quoted me prices x3-x4 times as much. support is good enough.

Choopa, I dealt with many host and choopa is one of the best and they fix all my problems in a timely manner. Fris is a bitch always fucking with someone

Agreed, Frank is good shit. When I have clients who want to install there, I have them request that frank install the dependancies so that i know it will go smoothly.

I used to host with Choopa. I left for no other reason than I got a better price and at that time it was easy to leave-I only had one gallery server. I can tell you from experience they run a tight ship, and I have had the owners jump on my problems when I had some. Their support was at that time great, and still is. Make friends with a tech. That's hosting 101.
