TheDoc 05-19-2010 07:56 AM

I have done it at the one in Vegas... once you get your balance it's not bad. Just watch falling, you can really jack yourself if you land wrong.

Choopa Phil 05-19-2010 07:57 AM

a guy 3 houses down had one built inside his home where the raquetball court used to be. once you get used to it, it is amazing!

Ethersync 05-19-2010 08:51 AM

Yes, it is great fun! Watching this makes me want to do it again.

brentbacardi 05-19-2010 09:08 AM

Where I live about 30min away we have a world record one, its supposed to the largest or the most powerful or something or other i dont remember...

I wanna try it out but haven't done it yet.... I would never skydive, but this looks fun though.

TrainWreckContent 05-19-2010 09:11 AM

it looks pretty cool but i think i would rather jump from a plane and get the real experience

BestXXXPorn 05-19-2010 09:13 AM

They have one in Florida, it's really a lot of fun.

Many sky divers use it to perfect their technique in the air. I was REALLY impressed by my instructor. It's hard enough just to float in one spot... these guys can adjust their height, location, and even float up to other people that are having a difficult time and hold them in a position where they're stable.

I highly recommend it it's really a lot of fun. Not exactly sky diving but a completely different type of fun...

datatank 05-19-2010 09:13 AM

jstyles is a pro

Rochard 05-19-2010 09:23 AM

I wouldn't call that sky diving. Sky diving involves, well, jumping out of an airplane flying in the sky.

That said, it looks like a blast.

Choopa Phil 05-19-2010 09:26 AM

theres probably nothing like the feeling of opening the plane door, hearing the engine, and looking 14,000 feet below. thats the experience im going for!

yeah probably doesnt compare to the indoor experience

Davy 05-19-2010 09:48 AM

Looks fun. But also quite difficult. There's the problem with the edge. The conditions are only optimal in the middle of the stream.

DiF0r 05-19-2010 09:53 AM

looks cool :)

justinsain 05-19-2010 09:54 AM

They have one in Orlando and I took a friend to it. She had over 250 skydive jumps but had
to give it up when she got hit by another skydiver while doing a formation jump and injured her shoulder.

Skydiving was her biggest thrill and I knew how much it meant to her.
Her being grounded was like putting a bird in a cage.
I didn't tell her where we were going and just pulled up to the place and said lets go.

She was surprised, super happy and watching her feel the thrill again was pretty cool too.

I went to the one in Niagara falls and asked about it. Somehow my wife talked me out of it because of the price.

How much for the Niagara Falls one?

I know the one in Orlando is different but it was only $40 for a short lesson and three turns in the tunnel.
I spent more than that on jaegerbombs afterwards :winkwink:

Roald 05-19-2010 11:14 AM

We just did that with all employees two weeks ago, great fun!
