If I could change the California Lotter, I would...
Make the odds of winning easier so more people get a chance to win.
One person just won 266 Million. I would rather see 532 people win 500k so you know there is a better chance of winning. This can help keep money moving in this economy. Thoughts? |
IMO I wouldnt play if I knew the odds were I was going to share my multi-millons with others.
Although the odds of winning are like 1:100000000000000000000000000000 ill take that $10 gamble |
Yeah but then you lose that fantasy of "I will be super wealthy" What the fuck can you do with 500k? Nobody wants to think in their head, ohh if I win I will get a new car, pay off my mortgage and go on a week long vacation in my time off from work, yay i won big in the lottery!
|
266 million might be too much, but 500k is not enough. Make it 50 million and now you're talking.
|
Not worth my time unless it's over $100 million.
. |
If the lottery actually had to pay out $500,000 to 500 people all at once they would go broke. Winnings are often spread out over many years.
|
Then break it down like this, instead of one person winning 266 million, let 266 million people win 1 million.

Hopefully soon one of the lotteries gets to $1 billion! :)
