Anyone Here Play 'Let It Ride' Poker?

I've recently played a bit and like the game but am wondering if there is any potential to win long term. I know the house has an edge of 3.5% or something but I've seen people win consistently with Roulette and BJ at the local casino where I used to live.

Anyone have any experiences with the game?

I have a friend who loves it, I havent played much of it. If the house has a 3.5% edge than no, there is no long term potential.

It's fun because it takes no thought or skill - you can play, talk, drink at the same time - and never make a "wrong" play.
It's also fun because you can get a pretty decent payoff on a small bet, and if it happens early in your session, you can walk away with a nice win.
However, the house edge on the game itself (with optimal player strategy) is around 3 or 4% at most Vegas casinos. The house edge on the 3-card poker side bet is around 7% (but you couldn't prove it by me - to me it's around 100% lol). And the house edge on the $1 side bet is around 20%.
At non-Vegas casinos, particularly Indian casinos, the pay tables are more to the house's advantage, so the player's odds go down even more.

Bottom line: can be fun, but don't count on breaking even.

nobody wins in roulette consistently unless something shady is going on ... like the dealer is trying to hit sections or something like that.
