I remember with Erasercash we gave away 10cars, CE gave away a Viper or two, what are some of the other great promos that you remember?

Was never impressed by big ticket giveaways with every join being a raffle ticket and shit like that... Most if not all affiliates which rather have a few more bucks per sale than read ads for a goofy contest they will never win.

People actually got the Erasercash cars?

Yea, I can't remember who all won them, but know we gave them away.

Great promos, so doesn't have to be a big ticket item. Another good one was getting a GFY shirt for making 100posts, that really got the board off to a good start even though it took Tanker and me going all over trying to find a company that would actually print them.

I don't quite understand why that ever stopped. Those shirts were probably $5-10 a piece and everyone loved them. I can understand that it got expensive sending out a bunch... but ad rates are pretty high.

ARS's point store. I know some folks followed (and some may have led) but theirs was the best IMHO.

I'd have actually purchased shirts, sweartshirts, whatever...had they made them available.

I think the natnet 50 bucks per room for phoenix this year was a work of genius.

I never did get my shirt way back then... or the damn hoodie that I won on here a few years later. I was starting to think GFY swag was all just a myth. :1orglaugh:disgust:1orglaugh

That new Penthouse promo where they take you on vacay on the private jet is kind of cool.

Most people don't get the chance to fly private ... on the Penthouse jet nonetheless.

That "wow" story that you can tell for years to come is better than cash.

That would be right up there with being invited to the Playboy Mansion for a private dinner with Hef (not a big party where just about anyone can get into).

About 4 years when Keith ran iwantu it was rocking when they did $100 PPS (I think it lasted a few months, maybe longer). Made a lot of money on that.

Not a promo ... but a freebie ... for some reason the Spacash rolling papers and lighter always stuck with me ... i don't even smoke weed so I have no idea why i remember it so much! LOL

I also agree on the $50 a room at Phoenix from NatNet!

I would push Playboy hard with that promo. That's once in a lifetime stuff.

The GFY contests that give away $50 for every 100th reply in a thread are fun. I won some money in those.

I remember TCG giving away $100k cash to affiliates based on Alexa rank of sites that had their banners. Banked a couple of K from that. Must have a been a pretty bad deal for them.

Topbucks gave away some huge ass monitors once, dang sure not cheap stuff.

That is one of the first promos that got my attention... Then I realized that there is no possible way I could ever win it, and moved on :(

Ok, I remembered one I thought was fair and rewarding, a few years ago for one of the Playboy mansion parties, Realitycash gave away a pass to every affiliate who sent 30 (?) sales the month before. I thought that was a cool way to reward smaller affiliates and give the chance to attend the party instead of just the bros who scored sponsor passes.

CE Cash Partnered with US at the Vegas Shows and we used to have All You Can Drink, Open Bar for 3 Days straight on the Convention Floor.

Those were the good old days, then mixing naked girls around alcohol, yes, we almost had the hotel shut down. (That was not good)

How about the Lightspeed Adventure Weekend? Lightspeed Cash flew in it's top ten affiliates and a bunch of friends, rented out a section of a nice hotel, and just partied for three solid days. Airplane dog fights, go carts.....

I won a motorcycle from Lightspeed Cash for having the most sales.

I came in 2nd to Joggs.Com when Porn Access gave away a TRex (what a fucking cool motorcycle/car hybrid that is)

Those were the days indeed.
