Upset by an ad placed in a Phoenix newspaper, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is calling on Arizonans to avoid traveling to Mexico.

The ad, a half page full-color advertisement appearing in the Friday edition of The Arizona Republic, featured a military looking man gazing through binoculars with words proclaiming, "We are looking for people from Arizona."

In a news release issued by his office, Arpaio says the ad "went well beyond being irresponsible, it appears to threaten Arizonans."

Sonora Turismo spokesman Adolfo Salido in Hermosillo said only half of the ad was published Friday. The rest of the ad in Saturday's paper included the caption "In Sonora, we are looking for people from Arizona who want to have a great time." The ad pictured people on the beach, having fun.

I think Arpaio is trying to say that the first half of the advertisement is giving the wrong meaning. However, the 2 parts combined are fine.

Looking at those statistics it appears that blacks collect more welfare than all Hispanics, legal or otherwise.
You can try and twist it anyway you want, the fact is that blacks are a greater drain on society and have been for generations. A recent study showed that 90% of black children will be on food stamps at some point during childhood.

Much better than the US.... No corruption, no gang violence, no nepotism, no tiny percentage controlling millions while the majority live in poverty, great infrastructure (sewage, police, etc...)


That's why the economy is in such great shape down there, with all their oil, and people are flocking to go there.

My wife came here from South Africa, you should talk to her sometime about all of the paperwork and time that it took to come here, and how she had to be SO careful not to break the law in ANY way, or risk deportation.

My answer is that I would, either work to change my own country into a place where there are opportunities to start businesses and create work, or I would do the RIGHT thing and follow the laws of the other country that I wanted to go to.
