Yes, I looked so if there is a thread (with my luck probably 15) I didn't see it and I will go to it for further posts.

So, who is watching and what do we think of the acts as it does on? I mean, we know they will all suck but still...

Two songs in and already we have dancing babydoll clowns with pig pigtails as two guys with white afros sing.

Well duh....nobody (in this country anyway) watches it because it is good.

i'm zapping forth and back between this and a game of the german football team - both not satisfying yet

So far not that much crazy ...apart from the weird blonde guy in blue and white.

i like the turkish band - musicwise

some really pretty female singer from eastern europe - as usual

but of course i hope the german girl wins - she's cool

If Turkey hadn't sung/rapped I would have actually liked the instrumental.

The UK entry was appalling and we even had Pete Waterman write and produce it. Guess, nobody told him it wasn't the 80's any more.

lol... A lot of the British comedy celebs were on Twitter comparing her to Dick Van Dyke on Mary Poppins.

I think Germany will win. It was the only song in the contest I would not mind listening once more. Btw, the stage and the lightning is horrible. shame on Norway.

at a press conference she was making fun - singing with a heavy german accent something like "and if you dont like my accent I will sing the song again". she's got humor :winkwink:

and the song sold more than 500,000 times by now - even if she doesn't win today she has already won a career. because 4 months ago she was nothing but a regular school girl

I like Denmark and Germany this year.

We didn't mind her..I think she will get votes from us since she has a bit of a Lilly Allen vibe to her. France might be a dark horse because of the football song. Even if they apparently thought the world cup is in Brazil and not South Africa.

Green room design is kinda cool this year too

If Greece wins they country would have fun hosting it.

It's an obvious set up. Germany won because they are currently bailing out whole fucking Europe and keeping the Euro from tanking completely.

Strange, I'm starting to think that Eurovision can be won by the most outstanding song. Its like if its different, unlike others then its got a chance.

UK people always making fun of Eurovision because of all the friendly neighboor votes. This time UK finished the very last, I bet they hate eurovision even more than ever lol

We don't hate it we just don't take it seriously. This year we were total rubbish and deserved not to do well but most years the voting is all about politics and anybody that doesn't admit that is crazy. Plus, it isn't like the music is actually any good - our song especially included.

The non-live version of that is actually pretty commercial. I bet it ends up being a hit over here too. My husband was in Germany two weeks ago for work and when the song came on tonight he said he had heard it before which must have meant it had been getting a lot of play because he would never notice a pop song otherwise.

I have a soft spot for Belgium (beautiful country with very friendly people) and he didn't do a bad job.

It was a great show as always. To be honest I was not thinking this year would be as good, but it was fantastic.

Thought Ireland should have done better. But it was the best song they have had for many years, so well done to them.

But all the songs were great.

Well I say all, the UK sucked. But basically they just hand over the song to some has been pop song writer. The year they gave it to Pete Waterman. Until they allow people to enter there own songs rather than have some rubbish talent show type thing we will never have a decent song.

One of the great things on the show was getting everyone in different countries to dance. That was super.

Well Germany for 2011. That should be good as they will be able to afford to put on a good show. It will be interesting to see what they do. I suspect many countries will be released this year as many have no budget to put it on. I bet Germany put something great on.

I was surprised Oslo did not do a few shots of Oslo. They seemed to miss out on an opportunity to promote themselves.

i think most of us suport iland rather than uk in the show.

i know i was suporting irland, cyprus (as he was from wales) and portugal (as she lived in london).
