Anyone have an X5, ML350, MDX, RX350 or Pilot?
I'm looking for a new vehicle to replace my CTS. I want more space for dogs and climbing gear and that kind of stuff. I want AWD or 4WD, for use in snow and on logging roads that kind of thing. Don't need a true 4x4 in the sense of hardcore off roading.
Anybody have any of the following vehicles and care to comment on it either good or bad? Lexus RX350 BMW X5 Mercedes ML350 Acura MDX Honda Pilot |
I traded in an ML350 for a Porsche CayenneS. The ML worked fine. Very truck-like in it's handling. The brakes wore out in less than 20k miles. Other than that,no problems with it. I use the Cayenne during the winter and it has been outstanding. It rides and handles like you would expect a Porsche.
My sister has an BMW X5 and she loves it. As far as I know there have been no problems with it at all. |
Post pics for more inspiration, please.

Sorry but they don't drive the same at all. Might as well buy your clothes at walmart too right and your wifes makeup at the supermarket. |
Consumer Reports rated the MDX very high.

I don't have any of these vehicles.

There are a ton of X5 options, get a big V8 and you'll be pretty happy. Really don't like the 350 - it feels very underpowered, you end up putting the pedal to the floor a lot which kills the mileage. |

I drived the X5 last year for some weeks. Its a really nice car and i couldnt find anything what i dont like on it.
When i am in your position i would try to get the X5 and the ML350 for some days. That you can compare them to each other. |
