I was looking for the more info on the $300 PPS deal from pussy cash so went to their contest thread. WTF is the point of contest threads??? Pathetic, have 100's of people posting " go go go!" "bump this up" "yeahh!!"

Why have this shit? fucking bunch of idiot people slamming this site making bullshit posts to try t o win $25 and in the process slow down the whole site. What is the point of having these people bump shit, they not even in our industry and contribute nothing. Why not just make the contest thread an announcement and sticky it.....

I ignore them so much now I don't even notice them... but I guess they work some what or the same companies wouldn't keep doing them over and over.

It's inexpensive marketing Will. Same answer relates to why people spam.

By offering incentives to keep the thread bumped up on the top of the list and thus highly visible to the people who haven't worked out how to navigate to page 2 etc they are achieving much higher thread views than a normal boring sales spam post and as such more people see their offer, sign up and fail to actually benefit from it.
