Deputies Raid Store At Tempe Mall in Arizona

:disgust
Maricopa County Sheriff?s deputies served a search warrant on Burlington Coat Factory in Arizona Mills Mall, Thursday night, looking for 10 men suspected of identity theft.

Sheriff Arpaio said three of the 10 were located inside. Those arrested are suspected of using false social security numbers and documents in order to get work.

?We arrested people here for felonies, class four felonies, stealing people?s ID, phony identification,? said Arpaio.

The sheriff said this all started in January when his officer got a tip from a manager at the store concerned that the company was hiring illegal immigrants. Investigators were able to confirm at least 10 workers were suspected of using falsified documents to gain employment. The sheriff said his deputies knew who they were looking for before they went inside.

?We know their ethnic background, because we have an inside source that gave us all the details on who they are. So, there's no racial profiling going on here,? said Arpaio.

Yuridia Rodriguez showed up at the mall after her husband Angel was taken into custody. She said she is originally from Mexico City and is here in Arizona under a permanent resident card. Rodriguez said her husband has been in the U.S. for 15 years and is the breadwinner of the family.

"He's worked. And he's paid everything taxes and he's a good man. He's not criminal," said Rodriguez.

Arpaio said his deputies will continue to look for the seven other suspects not found at the mall.

"He's worked. And he's paid everything taxes and he's a good man. He's not criminal," said Rodriguez. thats funny shit! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Dumbasses don't even realize they are breaking serious laws.

sexdatesj 06-04-2010 08:25 AM

WAY TO GO JOE!! Good Job! If your illegal, you cannot work legally. This means your stealing someones info or using completely fake info. Either way, IT'S A FUCKING CRIME!

mountainmiester 06-04-2010 09:17 AM

I'm no fan of Sheriff Joe however, I do find the entire political correctness attitude that has arisen around the notion of Racial Profiling to be laughable.

Hypothesis: A Blue eyes, blond, White Man about 5'9" in height robs a liquor store. Who do you look for to question? Tall Black Men? Short Hispanic Women? Anyone with Blond hair or blues eyes? NO, you look for a white man, with blond hair and blue eyes that is around 5'9". So what if we remove race from that equation all together and say we are now looking for someone with a large tattoo covering his forearms. Are we now picking on people with tattoos?

The fact is that in the investigation of a crime, law enforcement MUST profile on all levels. It's simply a process of identification and in fact, is what is reasonable.

There is another way to go that requires no profiling. Everyone must have a ID chip implanted under their skin. How does that idea grab ya? I think I'll just settle for profiling for now.

So it's already begun then. Obviously Arizona flat out LIED to everyone when they said 'probable cause such as traffic stops would lead them to questioning about immigration status'.

Already conducting raids to round up the brown people.

kristin 06-04-2010 11:14 AM

This case started back in January - way before the new law. It's sad that an existing investigation for all the right reasons is being debated because of this new law.

And so state and possibly federal money is spent on conducting raids to round up brown people in a strip mall that committed that crime out of necessity instead of the professional identity thieves that rape thousands of identities each day. Good call AZ. Wise choice.

these illegals were arrested using the Arizona sanctions law. The coat factory will get a warning the next time i think its 60 days they will have to close if caught again.

It took them 6 months to plan a raid on a Burlington Coat Factory?

why is it because he is enforcing the law. if they didnt break laws then they would be ok but their criminals.

I would love to see a comparison of how much those particular illegals at the BCF would have cost the taxpayers over a lifetime, including medical expenses, etc.... versus the 6 months worth of salaries and benefits to the inept cops that took half a year to plan a raid on a fucking coat store in a strip mall.

I'm guessing the cops cost more.

That's not all the cops were doing though.

And a Felony is a Felony. Doesn't matter if they're white, black, brown, whatever they're still committing a crime.

He also goes after people who are skipping out on child support on father's day. He's just a hard-ass all around, but the immigration issue gets him the most attention and gets him reelected again and again. He has been known for going after illegals as long as he's been in office so this is nothing new.

Ahh, but this is the primary line of reasoning that the republican folks keep putting out... the illegals are "costing us too much money!"... so, if that's really the issue, we should analyze the cost benefit of having police units tied up for half a year to bust a couple of guys working for low pay at a retailer.

But we all know, that's not really the issue is it.

Of course it's the issue. But it depends on who you ask everyone who supports it will have different answers to what the issue actually is. You can literally be pissed off about ANYTHING and justify it regarding illegals.

Think of it this way - would you want to risk shooting a mexican girl who looks SUPER young but has an ID that says she's 18 if you thought it might not be real?

I give it about 6-9 months of a "cool down" period and then they will have newer, more legit docs regarding their legalization or citizenship status and then we will be looking for ANOTHER excuse to go deeper into their legal status.

Years ago one of my wife's friends was suddenly arrested for fraud. We were stunned.

Turns out someone has stolen her information, and multiple woman were using it to marry illegal aliens - Mexicans - which made them American citizens. In the mean time, they opened up bank accounts and all kinds of stuff.

Amazing what they can do with a little info.

Racial profiling is when you ask cops to go stop 100 cars to check their seatbelts, and they pull over 90 black drivers.

Well muh man.... it's a case of 'you can't have it all'. Everyone wants the illegals thrown out, but then they also want a nice kush job that pays them at least something they can brag about... I don't know, what's the baseline salary these days that is brag worthy? $75k? Except that is in direct conflict with the (any) corporation's prime agenda, which is to cut costs and maximize profits. So the corp does what it was created to do and moves their operation to where the cheap labor is.

If you can't bring them to the mountain, bring the fucking mountain to them.

And we all lose. Rinse and repeat.

You come wait in a hospital for eight hours, then tell me how you feel about the illegals. Our hospitals are so overrun here with illegals because they come here and live here illegally and have NO PREVENTIVE CARE. So they get sick, then sicker, and finally end up in the ER, costing the state tons with no chances of them ever paying it back.

But you are still waiting to be seen with your health insurance card and co-pay ready.

I understand. I lived in Phoenix for 4 years.

But what about all the actual certified card-carrying Americans that are in there too, doing the exact same thing because, surprise! They don't have any insurance because it costs too much or don't feel like paying for it? I actually had someone in my house, during a conversation, tell me that "yeah... sure the hospital is free. You just go. I'm not paying for that." This person was also a typical registered white republican. Not a "wing-nut" fringe right or anything.

The hypocrisy of it all is as sickening to me as the oil leak.

I'm so sick of the liberal attitude towards this issue and racial profiling this, racial profilng that. They are breaking the law. They were busted. Done, move on to the Toys R Us down the street and repeat.

I'm also sick of the Republican corporate bullshit. The store in question should be shut down or fined a huge amount.

It's pretty simple really. The call is coming from inside the house. Make it such a huge fine/penalty for hiring an illegal immigrant that it's not worth the benefits of cheaper labor. Risk versus reward. If the employee in question used false docs then its identity theft/felony and put them away. If the businesses werent hiring illegals and the $$ source dried up they wouldnt be coming over the border looking for work.

And on a side topic, instead of creating a third political party based on nut jobs and fringe movements how about one grounded in moderate common sense. No liberal huggy feely handouts and no conservative god told us to do it rape of poor people. That party would win in a landslide.

Coup 06-04-2010 02:08 PM

Immigration will never be reformed in the manner proto-fascists like brassmonkey would like. Cheap unskilled labor is essential to the economy. As long as Brad and Susie ain't gonna pick grapes and clean toilets then you're gonna be putting up with Jose` for quite some time.

Enjoy

Oh I hate lazy, white people just as much. Those mooching off the system when they can work - they can get the fuck out too.

I have this one prime example of an ex-employee from here. He still hasn't gotten another job cause he wants to live off the system. Will go to school for the rest of his life cause he found out you can collect unemployment as long as you are enrolled in school.

Get off your ass and get a damn job!

Brad and Susie would pick grapes and clean toilets. They just arent retards and realize that cleaning a toilet is worth more than minimum wage. Once you remove the illegal immigration from the equation the less than desireable jobs (like cleaning up shit) become a lot more desirable due to the higher wages paid to do them.

Take the trash collector position. Here in Vegas Republic Services pays good $$ for their employees and people line up to do it. By your reasoning since illegal immigrants are not hired to do this job and it's beneath Brad and Suzie our trash would be sitting on the sidewalk and stinking up all of Vegas. But surprise surprise, they pay a good wage and its picked up like clock work twice a week.

Manuel comes and cuts my grass every Tuesday. I don't have to pay him and really, never even have to see him. It's all taken care of by the corporation in charge of the property. And Julia, her mother, sometimes her grandmother, and sister clean my house twice a month while my absurd 4x4 (I almost never drive) sits in the driveway next to my boat and RV because it's too modified to even fit in the garage out of sight.
I pay the neighbor kid to walk my dogs while I watch my 80" HD tv. I take the vehicles to the car wash where they are detailed to pristine condition by no less than 8 hispanics while I simultaneously text three people on an iPhone and grind on an obscene spectacle of psuedo-food from Carl's Jr. and completely ignore every other living person occupying "my space" for an hour. We're taking a trip to Bed, Bath & Beyond and Target this weekend to spend hundreds of dollars on more poorly made garbage we don't need. We'll probably celebrate with an over-priced dinner.... .

Give me what I want, right fucking now, and anything that needs taking care of, just fucking fix it. I don't care how.

That... is America.
