A few years ago I remember there being threads on GFY where people in the industry were expressing that they had no desire to look at porn. They were not particularly interested in porn for viewing as they saw this strictly as a business.

I on the other hand have always loved porn! I love the sexual freedom of the industry and I love seeing hot women having sex. My own personal tastes may vary from the norm but I have always enjoyed porn and when I see good porn I take the time to stop and appreciate it.

So are you a marketer/consumer or are you simply in the biz for the biz with no interest in the content past what it can bring to your bottom line?

I'm a mix of all three.

I like watching porn - I get ideas for shooting from it and I just enjoy it.

I am turned on by stuff I didn't see get made. The stuff I shoot doesn't do anything for me but everyone else has liked it so far. I just know the bts stuff so it kinda ruins it for me. Same thing when I was working in strip clubs. Now that I don't do THAT anymore I love going to them.

I could not agree more really. There are things out there I know I could never sell... video games come to mind. I really do not have much interest in them so selling them would be a lot harder for me than for someone who plays them constantly. I got into this business loving porn and it has never stopped. I can find something I like in almost every genre of porn so it is somewhat easier for me to sell that enthusiasm

Nothing wrong with enthusiasm. Its quite annoying that some people can take a great personality that has lots of "go" & positiveness & try to break that brilliant ora down.


I very much enjoy filming, the angles that I film at make a scene what it is. I try to film from the angles the person watching would want to look from. Sometime, getting up & down, laying underneath people & finding myself more worn out after a scene lol!

The great part is that I never find myself turned on during the filming, Im so into the job. Thats how I know I am enjoying & doing the job right. Its a rush when the scene is on a dvd or the net.

Although I agree somewhat with the opinion that you can't properly sell something you don't like, far too much of the porn is featuring blank expressionless women who would obviously much rather be doing something else. Occasionally I will see something that deserves a second look though.

edit* I LOVE this business though, there is nothing like it. I dont see myself leaving adult anytime soon or in the forseeable future. I got into this business because I had very little to invest but love computers and the internet and knew that if I just worked hard and did things smart that the returns would be huge. That combined with having 100 percent freedom to work anytime and from anywhere seal the deal for me.

After awhile, you become desensitized and more picky. I do not watch even a fraction of the porn I used to when I had started. That comes with age, as well as seeing it all day long. Plus, my tastes and pleasures have become more refined to the point of... if it does not "hit da spot", then I really have no interest.

I see most of it as business only anymore.

porn is nice but as each year goes on and you have seen 9 million pairs of titties I think only certain girls will do the trick for you as you get bored when their is no shortage of supply.

yeah, you get used to the porn, blah blah but hey, everyone has to get off and there isn't always a girl around so...

I went through a phase where I wasn't very interested in viewing porn. But the thing that works for me is my tastes keep changing... for a couple years I could not get enough Japanese art type nudes... that ended rather abruptly and I have no idea. I have been on a 'real women' thing for quite a few years and find the average woman to be incredibly sexy and interesting.... there is no shortage of that.

Visually I also very much like the teen niche, gorgeous girls.

I live in backwoods USA, my town is so small we have to drive about 2 hours to get to a dunkin donuts (since you are from the UK you are forgiven if you have no idea what that is) and I have no idea where a Krispy Kreme is in relation to where I live. We do not have a bakery in town either so I sure as heck don't have access to profiteroles.... as a matter of fact, I would need to do a google search to know what the heck they are!! LOL

There's a Krispy Kreme shop about 20 miles away from me but they really don't smell anything like what a UK donut is and i've never fancied trying one.

I have tried the Dunkin donuts before. They are very much slfter & a little smaller than usual donuts & yes, they are the bollocks. Fair play to enjoying them. You must try a profiterole at some point. There must be a bakery or shop near you that does them..... little choux pastry balls with cream inside & chocolate dripping over them :thumbsup
