The video showed Mehserle pulling his gun and fatally shooting Grant in the back as another officer kneeled on the unarmed Grant. Mehserle may have intended to draw and fire his Taser rather than his gun, according to a court filing by his lawyer.

Oh how I can't wait for this douchebag to have an "Anal Awaking" in prison.

How lucky this cop gets to have his "day in court" unlike the man they just killed by forcing off a cliff.

One of the questions in this case that keeps popping up for me is, after this piece of shit cop shot this unarmed black kid in the back while his buddy held him down, why didn't the other cops shoot Mehserle at that point? He was an armed murderer at that stage.

If some random dude off the train and his buddy had done the same thing, you can bet your ass the police would have emptied their clips on him.

Well, aside from their race being simple facts, I'm sure that will all be determined during the trial. I don't know Mehserle. Maybe he hated blacks or something.

You'll notice however, that I did not include their races in the thread title.

i just do not like how media spins it in a certain way, they clearly mention race in the story. which i think is very dangerous. i have serious problems with the way everything is a race issue in society. it creates divide on purpose.

i think media does it to spin a certain agenda instead of focusing on facts on hand.

i can guarantee you they purposely mentioned race to stir up problems.

i find the way that statement is written in the story very disturbing.

i am hoping in my life all races and colors are abolished. all it does is provide a gap in between people. when in reality 99% of humans are the exact same at the core.

I would like baddog and all other blind police supporters to start raising hell and demanding this cop be stripped of his rights and killed immediately by his fellow policemen. And I would like them to cheer the death of a man (this man, this cop) who was denied his rights. I don't give a fuck that this tool was once a cop. He's murderer, and by the statements made here on this board today, this it is the preferred method of justice. No slack.

Be a man, stand up, and demand this person be executed without a trial.
