We are considering the sale of one of our larger adult sites which is based on a vBulletin forum. We have 57,000 members and it is growing at a very healthy rate. This business has been earning us a consistent income of no less than $1000 / month and completely on auto pilot. The forum is one of the leading of its kind and well known in the adult circles and industry. Revenue is realized through supporter access to the VIP section as well as link and advertisiing sales.

First let's get some facts out of the way. We are not forced to sell, we are considering selling it because our portfolio includes over 2000 websites and we are considering diversifying into property (brick and mortar)

We will only be interested in selling the forum for at least 24x and if anyone thinks it's high as an asking price our reply is that it's not high enough. This is a genuine hands free and passive income business that will continue to grow the more members join the forum. We have NEVER paid for ANY advertising. Our traffic is mostly organic.

We are not posting stats or the site name at this stage because we are only open to serious buyers who can demonstrate to us that they can afford an investment of this magnitude. We see no point in wasting time answering questions posted by dreamers or the simply curious. Should we see that there is serious interest and from serious individuals, we will proceed to list the stats and proofs.

vBulletin license will be included - the deal will have to be conducted through escrow.com at 50/50 fees

The mathematics are simple: We want $24,000 for a site that makes $1000+ net passively each month

There are several moderators and two more admins than myself and the team deliver and exceptional quality service. This is truely a hands free and passive opportunity, we are honest and direct as a company and individuals. We would not even consider selling it, but my wife and I decided it's time to try for a baby and secure some cash for downpayment on a property.

is the profit 1000$ a month? or the income? people should be noticed about that they will definetly need a deticated server to run a forum with such many memebers and a deticated server is like 2-400$ a month ?
i have many years experience of forums and i would like to know the url aswell

I agree with everyone here. It is a buyers market with a lot of sites going for 5 to 10 months rev.

What is the NET income? I might have a buyer. But he wont be buying at 24 month rev.
