Who is watching the world cup this...

Who is watching the world cup this year. Heres to Saturday & England winning the cup :winkwink:

Maybe we could all enjoy a good chat on how well England played after the match :1orglaugh

I'll say Mexico takes it.

They're used to playing at higher altitudes. Mexico City is even higher sea level than Johanessburg. Those guys will be like superman out there compared to the other teams.

Ill be watching most games. My pick is Spain or Argentina if they improved from their form during qualifiers..they have the talent that's for sure.

Its not just about altitude, although this does come into effect with breathing & conditioning. Its down to footwork & team effort. Which is why England shall thrash USA :winkwink:

Hard to execute that footwork when you need twice the effort to breathe.

A Germany win heh.

They have certainly won a lot in the past. Thanks for your post.

Marcus Aurelius 06-10-2010 05:56 PM

count on Spain being in the finals

Count on Spain choking as usual. Greatest Sporting Event in human history, will watch every single game again, as usual, since 1994.

I'm really looking forward to the England-Germany game in the Eight-Finals, which i predict will be a 6:7 after penalties. ;)

The Demon 06-10-2010 06:23 PM

Without Ballack playing, I think Germany is simply outclassed.

No way, now you have certainly put me off your predeictions. 6;7 no way. Both great teams, it would be nearer 4;5 max. :2 cents:

The Demon, Spain aint choking :winkwink:

Mexico certainly isnt winning the cup after tonight. Fantastic first match but if its only 1;1 against South Africa, England or Spain are set to win :thumbsup
