Pretty clever of those scumbags. Those PWs are posted all over many big adult user forums. So they are trading stuff they get for free (not really free, it's stolen access) for something (WOW gold) they can trade for real money though ige.com and other gold exchanges.

Based on current prices at IGE, dude is asking for $8.95 for something that is free/stolen. Fuckers.

The LEGIT way to do this type of marketing is if a paysite owner sells $8.95 accounts that are supposedly "worth" $39.95 for his own paysites. But the real value is $1. lolz The "password holder" (lol) then gets a nag screen to renew at $8.95.

Not bad for a key pass for essentially another run of the mill tube site which is otherwise free. Plus there's possible upsells to dating sites LOL

In essence, treat this marketing venue as just another variation of the old fake free passwords game. Those fake free password sites still exist I believe. They are nothing but shells for upsells.

I've never played that game, EVER. I had a roommate that tried to get me to play though. I told him it wasn't happening.

He would literally get home from work and I wouldn't see him until the next morning. I could go in to talk to him and even without headphones on he wouldn't hear a word I said.

I liked the guy well enough, but I could never understand his fascination with that game.

Could never get into those style of games. Tried D&D online recently and that is about the longest I have ever lasted on an MMO. Probably because it is totally free. I find myself just running around by myself since I don't like joining parties with other strangers. I guess I am just antisocial.

I'm sooo glad I never got sucked into world of warcrack. Now Call of Duty, well that's another story... Black Ops is out in Nov...

i understand that but the problem is, everyone plays video games and they dont seem to mind the hours spent unless its warcraft.

People play COD and all these shoot em games for hours every single night but its "warcraft" that gets the bad name like people sitting inside all day. ITS JUST AGAME, if people have no self control its the same with every single game, just like people who play Guitar Hero for 9 hours straight, all the same.

as mentioned i hadnt logged on in very long time, before the new "dungeon group finder" was added, so I logged on after hearing about that to check it out, as i said, about 9 months i guess, anyhow removed crd info and cancelling it anyway... maybe check it out after catcalysm

I started a successful MMO gaming / social network years ago and we had a problem with fraud coming out of China and a ridiculous amount of hack attempts to I contacted the FBI's electronic division...

The guy assigned to the case JUST came from working on a case where an overseas group (in China) would steal American credit card numbers, buy WoW gold from a gold seller, then turn around and sell that gold back to users... The perfect money laundering system as it does essentially have an exchange rate and it's virtually untraceable.... brilliant!

That's true, but then again I don't see myself playing any shooter for more than an hour. I love those games, but I simply get tired of it very quickly AND it's easy to just log off.

With WoW it's hard to log off when you're in an instance or doing arena with a lot of other people, because they actually rely on you. If you flake out, you fuck them over and you end up getting kicked out of the team/guild and miss out on the high end gear and stop making progress. So to really get the most out of it, you've got to be online for at least a few hours. But I guess this is a MMORPG thing, not just WoW. It's just very time consuming.

Thats why I only pvp, log on, kill a few noobs and log off, not sit online for 7 hours waiting for group to get together and do a 2 hour raid LOL Anyone with a baby knows what I mean when I say I just dont have the time LOL Daughter eats up my time right now.

thats the time consuming stuff, pvp is fast and easy. i stay away from that raid shit. and yes, they BRAG about it. :1orglaugh

i dont like instances and raids, its the same thing over and over. mash button, kill mobs, mash buttons, kill boss, fight over loot... I like PVP, so I log on, go find some noobs to kill then log off.

PVP is where its at for me, instances and raids eat up your time, just randomly killing players doesnt take no time at all.

in order to PvP you need gear, otherwise any kid would faceroll you in 2 seconds
and to get PvP gear you need to farm your ass off in endless battlegrounds that are always the same, and arena matches, which is pretty much the same.

obviously you've never done any successful raiding, where 25 ppl come online at designated time, have fun for 2-3 hours clearing the raid instance and log off.

Havn't played wow in over a year, and havn't looked back. That game sucked up so much of my free time its ridiculous and most of it was sitting around waiting for 10 y/o 's to do their chores so we could raid. Glad I dropped that game, havn't played anything in over a year, instead I jog/ride my bicycle/jet ski/fish etc. More relaxing.

I'm fairly in agreement, SC 2 will be out a few months before the Cata. Even with the wolrd changes to suck in new and old players, I don't think its enough. A majority of people I played with were in it from the start to kill Arthas. Been there, done that, we beat the game IMO and we're done.

i agree, i cancelled it for my wifes entire pregnancy and just paid for one month to check it out and i removed card info before it even rebilled this month lol
