how long you think it take to ride my bmx from new orleans to los angeles?
 

Ive driven it multiple times, takes about 31 hours in uhaul truck hauling ass with trailer, and i believe from door to door it was 2150 or so miles...

if you didnt need sleep.

1,895 mi on a bmx id give you 60-80 miles a day. Id say about a month maybe a bit longer.

Let's say you ride for 15 hours a day/75 miles, giving you 9 hours to rest, sleep, eat and post on gfy, would take you 29 Days to get there.

15hours a day of ride, you will get your ass bleed after 4-5 hours

it would take a month

Bike would be fucked before you got there.

yeah sleep and rest would have to be factor, thats why i put it out there because some of you are good with numbers and could have this figured out quick,...

so a month is about average?

no kidding, i ride for 3-4 hours sometimes and talk about ass hurt LOL i ride daily so but t gets used to it, but 15 hours a day? idk lol

clearly seat would need to be modified, as Ive said ive read some bike trip stories and you dont really ride your bike "as is"

I should of elaborate, my 15 hours calculation was in 5 hours increments then 3 hour breaks in between.

Longest ride I've done is about 35 km on my mountain bike, from my place out to my parent's place in the burbs. Took me just under an hour each way, and believe me that was enough of a ride for me.

I wouldn't even consider, for example, riding from winnipeg to Vancouver.

But if you attempt it, good luck to you. It would be a hell of an interesting trip I'm sure.

well as always i made this while putting on my socks to go ride my bike lol just a thought i had... looks fun and quite challenging. Ive driven border to border across texas and it is a long ass drive, cant imagine riding bike, but it can be done. Ive driven from NOLA to LA many times back and forth

35km is about 20 miles? I do that a few times a week. I usually do about 15 miles a day

anybody could ride cross country on a bike like this.

a man's man would do it on a bmx, no helmet and a backpack...
