I get the email too. Tried many time to ask him to remove me. No luck.

He should have unsubscribe link as i know, or address where to send removal request...

If you read the bottom of the email it will say to reply with the word DELETE and we will take you off the list.

Seems some are not able to do that. So for them here's the simple solution. Block the email address.

As for my content sucking, I'm still around while many others have gone.

It is illegal to send spam without a working unsub link. It is illegal to email you unless you have opted in, or have "an existing business relationship" with him.

A simple look at the full headers of his email and then reporting him to the ISP/host he undoubtedly doesn't have permission to to do bulk email from should do the trick. Especially if the ISP/host receives *several* complaints (hint hint).

Will look into why Eva sent it out like that. That email list comes from CCBILL list of affiliates who signed up to out program and have not canceled.

You had to sign up to our content store or affiliate program to get on our email lists.

As for being a spammer. Think back 5 years and all the content stores and sites who have closed. We make money from the newsletter with people who need to get them. Should I run the business based on people who don't buy or don't promote us and ignore the wishes of those who do?

You are king of the straw man, you really are. No one is suggesting you run your business based on people who do not buy from you. What people are suggesting is you operate your business within the law and have a functional opt out facility.

I can help you set this up if you are stuggling. What email sending software do you use? Everyone I have ever seen has unsub stuff on as default and manages the whole process for you. So it should be really easy to make sure you are following the law.

While I do not like getting emails multiple times a week from Paul at times, it is amazing so many can't simply contact him directly, block his email, or simply hit delete and be done with it. He's around all the time.

..... frankly I think it's overkill.

While Paul may not be following the CANNED SPAM ACT to the letter. He simply needs to modify his newsletters accordingly and be done with it. They obviously must have 'opted in' at some point, but he needs to either find a newsletter provider that has an unsubscribe option at the bottom. Or he needs to add it in manually. Either way, it is a simple fix.

The truth is if Paul is using the CC Bill affiliate mailing list, which I figure he is, and you are an affiliate, you must have the box enabled in your account allowing him to send you an email. So, basically you have given him permission to email you. If you don't want the email, go to your CC Bill affiliate account and uncheck the box.

I've been getting Paul's "newsletters" for years. I've asked to be removed and have set up filters to block them. Either hotmail and gmail suck at remembering the filters I've set up, or Paul changes things in order to ensure those who do not want to receive his emails continue to receive them anyway. Since gmail filters work with other spam, I'm of the opinion the latter is the case with Paul.

i just deleted 300 spam mails about viagra and other stuff - meanwhile Pauls newsletter at least make sense for people being in this business. and so do mine ;)

Been sending emails off the same server and email address for a long time. If you're not able to set up your email box, ICQ, Skype email us or there is a box you can unclick on your details page in the database or you can delete the email address. Should take you 5 minutes to sort it out once you log in.

You can always leave part of your email address here and I will delete you tomorrow. Same goes for the other moaners who can't figure it out for themselves. Or maybe they prefer to moan. :)
