Twitter, Social Media and the underage content problem
With the creation of user-powered social media websites such as Twitter and Facebook it's very easy for underage pornographic content to appear.
Running a Twitter or Facebook account that relies on user submitted amateur erotica seems to walk a legal thin line. From my understanding, simply possessing underage sexual content on a phone, email or hard drive is a felony in the United States. I imagine it appearing on a Facebook "wall" or message or twitpic twitter reply would be as well. How does the owner of a social media account that relies on user submissions prevent underage content from being submitted specifically to an email address? Example: I've seen several Twitter accounts that ask for self-shot images to be emailed. The email address is provided on the page. A phrase "18+ only" appears as well in the bio, but this phrase alone probably does not stop illegal content from being mailed to the account owner. Possessing it in the inbox is a felony. This same situation can occur on other websites such as the "Rate me" websites. Is there any way to operate a user powered erotic website without facing this underaged content problem? |
I always wondered how the law functions in the fact that anyone that opens a page like that has their browser automatically save the images in a cache on their hard drive, thereby making anyone now in possession that even accidentally views a page that someone posted something on

We might get to find out. This morning Perez Hilton posted a supposed upskirt picture of Miley Cyrus where she wasn't wearing any panties. He took it down, but only after there were complaints. If the pic is real, there could be an investigation.

Kids will do what they want, you can't stop it. No law can.

The issue of what to do about underage content (under25yo) is purely tactical and legal. |

It's a crime to possess cp (stored digitally on your computer) whether intentional or not (in usa). Hide/Delete the evidence or beg for leniency before your masters. |
Kids posting on socials sites? Jackpot! You dirt bags should steal it all and open GFS sites with it. CCbill will process for you and the other dirt bags will promote you even if word breaks that you site has minors and illegal content.
