"In no case was any warning given by soldiers before opening fire.
"They lost self control and forgot, or ignored, their instructions and training."

The Inquiry found many of the soldiers gave false accounts of what happened in order to justifiy their actions.

I wonder if it is the truth still.

In those days, the kids were used by the IRA & many people were into more than they made out without family knowing. It could be that the guns were taken from the casualties or, as we put it these days, friendly fire from their side!?
