Windows 7 (64bit) + iTunes/iPhone - Can't sync
Anyone else here have this problem? I've been reading a bunch of different "solutions" to the problem online. Others state that it is an issue with the P55 chipset.
iTunes just doesn't recognize my iPhone at all. I can plug it in and nothing shows up. Diagnostics (in iTunes) say no device is connected, but Windows detects it just fine when I plug it in. I've reinstalled itunes about 5 times. Tried older versions. I've reset this phone a bunch of times, tried every USB port I had, even a different cable. Rebooted the PC over and over. Once in a while it will see it. This is like maybe 1 out of 20 attempts. This sucks! |
No help for you here. I've connected my daughter-in-laws iphone to this PC before as well as my iPad, but I have an X58 chipset.

Same thing here. I'm in Jamaica trying to get mine to work so I can use the fitness room tomorrow. I give up. It acts like it will work then nothing.

I had to do a 'hard reset' on the phone once for it to work.. then it picked it up fine...

I notice flash doesnt work on 64bit so maybe use the 32???
|
I thought everything apple "just works"? I guess not! lol

I have no problems with this combination.
Is your iphone software up to date? (3.1.3)(7E18) for me. |
Figured it out. For some reason Windows always pops up the "Autoplay" option once I plug in the iPhone. I went into settings and disabled that. Now iTunes recognizes it. Pain in the ass!
