Head Teabagger Takes A Load

...off his plate while taking on another that he won't accomplish.

Mark Williams steps aside as chairman of the Tea Party Express - Jun 2010

Washington (CNN) - Conservative radio talk show host and prominent Tea Party activist Mark Williams is giving up his role as the chairman of the Tea Party Express, Williams told CNN Saturday. Williams said his decision stemmed from his involvement in two other major projects.

1. Opposing the construction of a mosque near the site of Ground Zero in New York, where the twin towers of the World Trade Center were destroyed by Islamist hijackers on September 11, 2001.

2. Leading a recall effort against some members of the Sacramento City Council and running for a spot on the local body himself after the council voted to boycott Arizona over its new immigration law.

"I'll still be shooting my mouth off and appearing on TV," said Williams. "I just won't be as critical in strategy which is fine by me."

:2 cents: Teabaggers are funny. :)

The teabag movement united a bunch of idiots that got exploited by the Republican party.

But the good news is the tea party is going to cost the Republicans in states they should win. Senate Seats that looked like sure things for Republicans just a couple of months ago are slipping away in places like Kentucky, Nevada and Florida because the tea baggers selected unelectable nuts in the Republican primaries.

In other words the people they were trying to exploit ended up biting them in the ass.

No better example than Sharron Angle. She's straight outta Looneyville. How she expects to recover from a platform of "Abolish the EPA & Social Security" will be pure comedy gold to watch. (it already is.)

So you think a candidate running in Nevada can win when she has said in the recent past she favors prohibition, thinks fluoride in the water is some sort of commie mind control plot, says if Republicans loose the next election cycle that they might have to resort to ?second amendment remedies? to take back control of the government, wants to abolish social security and Medicare and was a member of the right wing fringe group the ?oath keepers?.

Or perhaps a candidate in Kentucky that wants to abolish social security, Medicare, the Civil Rights act and thinks that Obama is just being too mean to BP. A Dr that didn?t like the rules for certification in his profession so he made up a whole new certification system where he named himself president and his wife and father in law as officers in the organization and still refers to himself as a board certified physician in his area of practice even though it only his board that has certified him.

In Florida Charlie Crist is pulling away from everyone else now that he has left the Republican Party.

Prehaps you watch way too much fox?

Not saying I agree with either of them but when both win, what does that tell you? That maybe your idea of what Americans want is totally different than you are being spoon fed :2 cents:

The Demon 06-19-2010 07:26 PM

What's this, a democrat/liberal pretending to know what Americans want, when it's the opposite of whatever he's thinking? There's a shocker.

One might think so on the surface, but do we really know who is responsible? The crime scene (the aftermath) was erased immediately, with no chance of investigating further. Why is that? Since when is that standard procedure for a crime scene?

And what difference does it make in the end? It's just a building. Does it really matter in any capacity other than sentimental nostalgia if they build it there or a block away?

Ya, it is in doubt who attacked the WTC... I am sure that cheney had the towers taken down so Haliburton could ruin the gulf with this fake oil spill concocted by GW. Micheal Moore should get busy investigating! Dammit, where is my tinfoil hat!?!?!?!

I guess you can say that building a mosque anywhere near the 9/11 site is ok and that is just a building. But when you type that shit you show yourself to be a twit and moron.. or a moronic twit.

And by saying that it's not okay, you're blaming all muslims for the event, are you not? What difference does it make to you? As long as they purchase the land and pay their taxes and abide by all the proper building codes and permits and such, I give a fuck if they put a Chucky Cheese there.

charlie g 06-20-2010 06:16 PM

It is called respect. Thousands of people were murdered by islamic terrorists. Out of good taste they should build their masjid elsewhere. The dog worshipers can build their pigpen anywhere they wish as granted by the freedoms our country offers. It does not mean they shouldn't consider the wishes of their neighbors. Allah sucks!
