Zombaio charges a $30 fee to send a $50 check. For real.

$10 fee for a wire transfer, $30 for a check, no other options.

Can I get a WTF?

They said they'll be adding ACH soon, but I don't think that helps me as a Canadian either.

Hrmph.

IllTestYourGirls 06-19-2010 05:51 PM

Do the wire? I have a few mainstream sponsors (I know Zombaio is not a sponsor) that charge 30/35 per check. Just make your pay out so that it is only a small % of the check. And I think you might be able to write off the $30 charge as a business expense.

MrBottomTooth 06-19-2010 06:02 PM

Ya it's pathetic. I joined one sponsor and made a sale then they switched back to ccbill so I basically have money in there that I will never be able to get since their fees are almost as much or more than the signup I made. :disgust

crazytrini85 06-19-2010 06:26 PM

So get the wire. Don't have a bank account or what?

J. Falcon 06-19-2010 06:56 PM

I would go with the wire. But yeah those are crazy fees. What's ACH?

eastwood 06-19-2010 07:22 PM

Whats 30 on a 5,000 check?

fatfoo 06-19-2010 07:42 PM

That fee is too large.

Chosen 06-19-2010 09:03 PM

write it off as a bank fees

lagcam 06-20-2010 05:09 AM

The moral of the story here is READ THE TERMS WHEN YOU SIGN UP

Zombaio have never made a secret of their fees and clearly they dislike sending checks for a reason. Their wire fees are VERY reasonable compared to the cost of a ccbil wire. so really you have nothing to complain about.

Get the bank wire or get the check, or make more money with them and the fee will not seem so big. Not complicated is it?

FrozenJag 06-20-2010 05:16 AM

Ummmm. It's always been like that.

Use wire, comes like clockwork. Plus how can you complain when their processing rates are so low?

woj 06-20-2010 06:34 AM

just get the wire, what's the problem?

Klen 06-20-2010 08:14 AM

So basically ccbill charge 0$ for check and 50$ for wire, and zombaio charges 30$ for check and 10$ for wire?Kind a unusual fees.

candyflip 06-20-2010 08:26 AM

CCBill charges you for the stamp they put on the envelope to mail you your check.

Talk about pinching pennies.

Exactly my point. Why would you want to cash a check of $50, its not worth the hassle or?
Wait a couple weeks, then cash it in.

AdPatron 06-20-2010 08:51 AM

Give yourself a fee.

Ethersync 06-20-2010 08:59 AM

I really hope you are not this worried about $50...

Vendzilla 06-20-2010 09:22 AM

CCbill charges what 14%? and Zombaio 4.9%, on a $500 check thats a difference of almost $50, get the wire
