Most of the time the statement is not substantiated by polls, it is simply a brainwashing technique that I am calling out.

the way I see it, both sides use this, but the polls show the truth of what people want, if all the polls show the same thing, it's given that's the truth, when a state votes in a new law by a large %, like Arizona, then that's what the people really want

What I don't like is when the the minority party talks about the other side "ramming a bill down the people's throats".

Perhaps they don't understand how a democracy works, but generally speaking, a little less than 50% of the population ALWAYS has something rammed down their throat when congress passes a law. That's pretty much exactly how the system is suppose to work.

Sometimes your side is doing the ramming and sometimes your side is getting rammed. It's called a democracy. The slight majority wins.

But the reality is that the powerful elite have found a way to make Americans fight against each other and blame each other while they sneak out the back door with all the money, having just rigged the entire game in their favor while next door neighbors blame each other for the countries problems. Trust me, if you pledge your allegiance to one side or the other and listen to all the clowns on that side, you are being used as a tool so that the ruling class can continue to have their way. The politicians end up becoming pawns and just pander to one side or the other. They stay in office so they could care less what the corporations end up doing as long as they can continue pandering to their base.

Trust me, that's exactly what is going on right now. If you are blaming other everyday Americans for the countries problems, you are part of the problem. Stop with all this liberal vs conservative crap and start seeing who is really responsible for fucking up this country.
