The truth about affiliates and affiliate marketing
 

I was just posting this in someone elses thread but fuck it it deserves my own thread.

Please all stop claiming like you making money of your sites. It simply ain't true. To start making any income worth mentioning on a standard affiliate site you need minimum 200k to 300k visitors per day and thats just enough to start seeing some cash coming in. I bet 99% in here doesn't even do 1 5th of the traffic and has a normal dayjob to pay the bills.

So please stop treads were u telling something is converting bad or good or that sales are down comparing to last month because it just looks dumb! You simply don't have the traffic to factuate anything your saying.

The guys who do actually have enough traffic to get a decent income rarely post on here. Because hey what a surprise they actually have a business to run and cannot waste time on here.

Made a post a few days ago about black tgp, mgp and blogs as we are actively looking for tons of traffic in the niche for blakccrush... well guess what it worked and it got sales.

i buy traffic from local street gangs. converts pretty well.

You have no clue .... if in the right niche you make the amount of $ compared to daily SE traffic per month ..... i.e. if you get 10k hits/daily from Google for an assortment of good quality terms, you could make 10k US$ a month. Pretty easy formula = 3 cents a click. If you talk skimmed TGP/Tube traffic, I agree ... 300 bucks a month is all you will make.

If you get 10k from Google in a certain niche, maybe yes (but even then i doubt it you'll make 10k a month. I think more closer to 3k or 4k) but then again.. Getting 10k from google is maybe not that hard, but getting 10k from Google in a certain niche is! It might be even harder then getting those 200k daily visitors.

Anyway the shows ussually proof what i'm saying. You see there 99% programs, payment gateways etc. and the affiliates attending you can count on 2 hands. And most affiliates attending there actually do not run any blog or tgp networks but ussually have some smarter tactics going on.
