Fake Drama?
 

I have been a member of GFY for a few years and lurking a few years longer. After a layoff, it seems to me to be more faux drama is more severe here than I can ever remember. Barefootsie and neon lights and so forth. It almost appears to be 2 real people with about 20 nicks engage in a clusterfuck of bullshit.

Is traffic down at GFY where they would pay trolls to clog the boards with bullshit for impressions? It seems the drama was semi genuine in the past. Now I cant even read it anymore. Am I alone on a board of bots and outsourced forum posters? :helpme

I must say i notice this too, i dont say it's fake drama but it's "attention whore" type of threads.

I was wondering myself about WTF is going on... I haven't gotten any work off GFY for years and I seldom post images due to the 'female hating' on this board.... I do like the silly pictures and I do pick up interesting websites on occasion... other than that it's just about done as far as I can tell... 3-4 peeps running travel logs and family blogs, lots and lots of 'world news', lots of fuck the establishement... sort like a high school board and lots of personal attacks about 'who knows what'... and many many bots... they might get the board cleaned up... and I was thinking they should give barefootises his own section of gfy myself $.02

While there is genuine animosity with neonlights (doridori). You can add to that list of relentless haters, fake nicks, and McWebmasters... candyflip/BigDeanEvans/Marcus/punkpred/Slow Roosevelt (MOCKBA),Batts/RoboCrap and new addition mgtarheels.

I am sure there are some I am forgetting, but the point is that if you do some searches you will find YEARS of attacks from a lot of these guys. Some are fake nicks making a come back after all their main nicks were banned, some are new, others are buddies of that idiot AllMySpace aka Rick Zucci. Who actually HAS been banned off of almost every WM board out there. So he started his own. Apparently some of these guys are his minions.

I do not like everyone, and do not expect everyone to likes me. That's fine, and is to be expected as that's how it works in real life. However, some of these guys go over and above not liking someone... with their cyber stalking, chasing me from one board to the next, showing up trolling in almost every thread like some jadded school girl repeating the same punch lines and accusations like a broken records for YEARS. Right, for years they have done this. People can do searches and find a lot of it.

A few people seem to have an OCD complex, and simply can't put someone they do not like on ignore. Instead, they spend their time daily hating on complete strangers on the internet. It speaks volumes of their own business and personal lives.

I always get a good laugh when a proven thief like candyflip runs around claiming to 'call out' others. Busted stealing designs. Involved in other shady bullshit in the past with multiple people in this industry (plenty of long threads for your pleasure). Anyone who believesa thing this assclown has to say is free to run a history of his history on GFY.

Oh, he will claim that it was, 'a long time ago', and that he made up with those he stole from etc. as if any of that matters. Same as he will sit on GFY all weekend, then claim to be playing with his kids and family on vacation or what not.

Lastly, 'everyone does not like him'. Nothing says complete retard like people using the word, 'never', 'always', and everyone trying justify their position to lump their mob hatred. When people stand up as clients, verify someone is a client (because they also work with them) or neutral people pointing out their idiocy, they are attacked as 'butt buddies'.

It's like a handful of retards on the playground in kindergarten..... worried about who's popular, respected, hated, or what not. Then when they do not like someone, trying to convince the rest of the class not to like them as well.

Frankly, it says a lot about the maturity and intelligence of these clowns. Which is why I just laugh about most of this bullshit. When you know the truth about candyflip's history, look at the mentality and emotional insecurity of people like BigDeanEvans and Slow Roseveldt (among others) you almost feel sorry for them.

In the end, no one is going to pay 30-50% more for content, designs, MechBunny and web hosting if they can save money or get a better deal then they are getting now with their current providers. Business is business.
