Thinking About Moving to Florida Next Year! Advice?

This is what I hear about Tampa/Miami

cheap housing in a good area
2 girl to 1 guy ratio
ghetto fabulous big titted women
crime rate is average but not out of control
lots of fellow adult producers to hang with
kinda boring but there is shit to do if you know the right people

If your living in Florida, would you move there all over again?

I produce foot fetish content as well as lesbian content, btw as well as running other assorted directories and indexes. Just looking for your thoughts on Florida in general please and thank you, party people! :thumbsup

We're making the move early next year. Cannot decide between Miami, Hallandale Beach and Ft. Lauderdale.

The only advice I have is do not move there if you have to rely on the local economy. It is brutal. If you make all of your money online you'll be fine.

digitaldivas 06-29-2010 09:36 PM

Thank you! I will be moving my nest egg with me. So I would imagine with the economy, lots of pretty girls down for shoots? I have heard good things about Tampa. I am just looking for an HQ that is a nice chill city that I can work out of. Place where I can also date and be "normal"... or about as normal as I can be.

I love Tampa :) Yeah it's slower than Miami but also cheaper and less touristy... Beautiful beaches.

Huricane insurance. Just keep that in mind. That's all I'm worried about right now.

Move to Miami Beach, you will love it. Great weather, beautiful women, things going on all the time. I've been here 20 years and wish I had moved even earlier.

:thumbsup :thumbsup

I live on the Pinellas County side of the bay, Clearwater area. Less going on but IMO nicer, more suburban, less crime than the Tampa side. When I want to go over there I just cross the bridge.

Good time to scoop up property. Don't expect crazy steals over here though. Big investment companies are scooping up most of the insanely good deals. Real estate is starting to get competitive again.

Have a house in Boca for more than 20 years.

Other than some very high end exclusive enclaves or maybe one of the keys (NOT key west) I wouldn't live anywhere else in Florida.

You will need black ones for the more formal events down here. And shorts, you're gonna need shorts. I've been wearing shorts now for 20 years. No socks since 1990.

Yea Tampa is a hot Spot for mid level action. It is a nice place in areas do your homework on the entire area.

Miami is the top notch party spots but has a lot of drawbacks.

I live in Melbourne otherwise known as Melboring but I like it quite and peaceful to raise my girls away from guys like you lol good luck on the move hit me up when you do we can have lunch. I get to Tampa to play cards at HardRock casino at times.

Cheers

Get a dehumidifier and lots of mosquito repellent.

Ross 07-02-2010 03:18 AM

I'd move to Florida in a minute. Wouldn't be fussy on which part either, all places I have been there is shit to do. Miami is my fav place tho, not just in Florida, but in all the places I've been. Just love the vibe down in Miami.

clicker 07-02-2010 05:20 AM

Humidity and bugssssss.... The beaches are nice though as long as BP's oil doesnt destroy them.

ruff 07-02-2010 05:55 AM

I've lived on the beach for 20 years and never had screens on my windows so I don't know about any bugs. Cockroaches are kind of big, but a small handgun is all you need for those.

digitaldivas 07-02-2010 10:39 PM

thanks alot people, all of the advice is awesome, and makes me that much more excited for my visit. :P
