4TH of July In LA
Im a huge fan of the 4th of July. Wheres the good stuff at?? Firework shows??:helpme
|
Almost everywhere. Instead of one big show, there are dozens of small shows. The two best in the Valley are in Porter Ranch and Woodland Hills.
Go early they both get packed.... |
Personally, I leave to go where I can put on a show myself, but the Rose Bowl is pretty nice.
|
Rose Bowl put on a really good show.

My parents on on their way down to LA for the weekend. Tomorrow is their 50th wedding anniversary. On Sunday, they're seeing the Angels/Royals game with a fireworks show after at Angels Stadium.

Malibu is nice, but I used to live right at end of the docks in Marina del Rey and they put on a sweet show there. You have to get there REALLY early or no luck getting a spot.
If you go down Admiralty Way by the canals in Venice there is a small parking lot. Go there early that day and park a truck there. come back later with folding chairs and sit in the back and enjoy. One of the things I really miss was being able to see them from my front door |
We will be on Catalina Island over the 4th... I hope they put on a good show.
