Donations for Soldiers in Afghanistan PLEASE!!!
 

Hey guys and gals... no this isn't a big send money help thing... I have a great friend over in Afghanistan. He is a Flight Medic on a Forward Operation's Base which is fucking VERY dangerous... I asked him if I could send some stuff to brighten their days... He said this:

We dont have any place to purchase personal hygene products like body-wash, shave gel, baby wipes. As for movies any would be great as well as books or magazines. We also like any small packaged drink mixes and cliff type bars because we miss alot of meals.

So I thought I would come here and see if I could gather some stuff and put a HUGE package together for them... I have over 100 movies I have burned that I am sending and I thought I would go to Costco and put together some great stuff to send...

Those are our guys, no matter if you fucking like the war, hate the war, hate the government, whatever, they will die for us in any situation and they deserve a big box of stuff to let them know that they are loved... He said this too:

But I think most of us want the same thing. To be back home safe and to have the support of our nation from people like you. (meaning me hehe) I let them know that there are other people like you who support us.

So it would be great to send them a box and say hey guys this box is from a group of great American pervs... GO FUCK YOURSELF haha They don't have great Internet over there so it would take them all day to load and read this site... haha

and for anyone who doesn't know me, I have done many donations over the years here for animals and even programs have sent money. I always do what I say and take tons of pics with proof... and of course you will see pics of the guys with the stuff posted here I promise...

Here is some info and pics about the guys you would be sending too... I told him I watched a show and the media was saying that the government ordered the guys to stop helping locals, so I ask if that was true...

Well I am fine here in beautiful Afghanistan. As you can see from the pictures I sent we are living large. As for the care and treatment of the locals I would say that the reporters are incorrect. I have seen and treated more locals than any other People. We are as flightmedic are not working hand in hand with the local military/police but the Army units here do. I/we do not have the luxury of only treating/transporting US soldiers. We care and treat all the same with all we have. Sometimes we dont like it because just before that they may have been shooting at us. As a whole from my view is that we the US soldier on the ground are helping the locals in so many ways the press dont care about. Also the press dont really come to the far out bases FOB's (Forward Operating Base) due to the danger and current living conditions.

If you have any old magazines laying around let me know too... they might cost 5 or 10 bucks to send, but when a mag is about 4 or 5 bucks a piece to buy it's makes up for it... haha

Sorry, but from the looks of it, the soldiers are doing the occupying.

I don't have paypal to donate, but I would like to remind people this doesn't support the army, or the government. It does a bit to help the individuals who are over there fighting for my country.
I am a veteran, and I didn't pick where I went, or where they sent me. I went where my orders told me, and so are they.
I give a piece of my disability check each month to the USO to help soldiers and their families.
My donation doesn't help the war effort. It goes to making the soldiers life a bit easier.
A couple months ago, our donations gave 19 units entertainment items. Xbox's, dvd players, dvds, laptops, air conditioners etc.

I hear a lot of them get so excited, happy and feel love when they get gifts like this... they don't ask for much... just little things... like maybe someone has small shampoo bottle that you collect from Hotels...that would be great to send over...

Anyone collect shampoo/conditioner bottles and the little lotions??? I have a few... so if anyone has that please let me know I would love to box a group of that up for them to choose from...

Oh and lots of magazines are great... like I said earlier 10 -20 magazines would cost about $5 or $10 to ship, but the cost of those magazines at $4 $5 a piece makes it worth it... I have a few but they aren't guy mags... well some of them are... haha

I really feel for these guys, there are way out there away from everything... you saw the pics there are no stores around anywhere to buy anything. SO if I can bring a little mini mart to them to have and enjoy I will and I will ROCK IT... I can't wait to see the pics of them with the stuff... :)

FYI they don't want candy bars... they want protein bars, health bars, bars you can eat in a place of a meal, energy bars. A lot of times when they are way out in the field, they miss meals so sending couple protein bars and stuff similar to that would be a wonderful gift... :thumbsup

Supporting the soldiers is not the same as supporting the war. You can be against the war and still support the soldiers without any conflict of principle. The soldiers didn't put themselves there, Bush did.

He promised to end the war in Iraq, to focus on Afghanistan ( because Bush took the eye of the ball to please himself ) and take a closer look to Pakistan.

Not whithstanding the fact that both wars were baseless, undeclared, badly managed and useless, he should bring all troops home .

As for the soldiers in the " operation theatre " , they are volunteers and got premiums to signup .. they don't deserve more then what the military promised them ...

Signing bonuses only come with certain jobs, not all, and the bonus is usually pretty small, as is their monthly pay... literally comparable with minimum wage for risking their lives daily. They "deserve" everything & anything they are given.

Trail Mix
Beef Jerky
Mrs. Dash (Great when you have to eat MREs day in and day out)
Porn, seriously...

Kind of sad priorities, the people in Afganistan is suffering and you want us to help out a soldier that earns 1000x the average afgan, with movies and candy bars....

If you read the letter and not just the title and then follow your Hollywood/Media leaders, you would see that he is helping Afghans... giving them medical aid because I can tell you they don't have that out there...
