NASCAR is on FIRE and I've got pics!
 

Spent my 4th of July weekend over in Daytona for the Coke/Zero 400 NASCAR race.

Rain tried to ruin the event but they were able to get the track dry and get an awesome race in. It's such a fun time and
it's hard to imagine anyone with a sense of adventure and excitement putting NASCAR down.

Here's a few pics from last night that shows just a hint of what you might find at any NASCAR event.




Unlike a football game NASCAR events last all weekend and half the fun happens off the track.

About 150,000 fans filled the stands to watch the action and certainly got their money's worth.

Nothing compares to the start of the race when 43 of the worlds greatest drivers fly by bumper to bumper and door to door.

You hear the engines, smell the gas and feel the wind as the pack blows by and it's awesome.

Everyone expects the " Big One " and this race had one of the biggest with about half the cars getting wrecked in it.

These guys will flat out use up their race cars and drive like it's checkers or wreckers.

Talladega is a fun place on race day!

I haven't been to Talladega yet but hope to some day. I hear they party the hardest there out of all the tracks. If you like racing in general or are a fan of sports you'll like NASCAR if you give it a chance and learn what it's about. :thumbsup

Yeah, 'Dega is all about the party. The track is pretty lame for the actual race, though.

From my door to the ticket taker is about a 35 minute drive. :)
