usually dating sites take a while to convert but after 57 free sign ups and not even one sale... damn, I will stick to my other dating site...

I should add Ive always done shitty with dating. I dont have targeted dating traffic. Paysites have always done better with my traffic.

In fairness to the program, this was untargeted traffic sent over the weekend ending today and a over half is originating from non-english speaking countries - which when you and I spoke on Friday I was upfront with you that there are some countries (India, Malaysia, etc) that we can't monetize.

I can understand pulling the ads until you see sales, but dating has a long tail so give it at least until friday to gauge results.

As you told me when we talked the other day, our IM ads were generating 4 times the action you were getting from other programs. Please it a week before you judge it. :2 cents:

I'd have to disagree. If this were true established dating sites wouldn't be rebranding themselves to regain momentum.

Tried it for a couple hours, 4k uniques, 67 regs, no sales.

Well their just banking on our name / brand... HookUP.com, which is certainly frustrating. The domain name is a very long un-memorable name / take off of ours, that they down play.

HookUP.com does well. (though not with Malaysia either)

I know with dating program you have your compulsive buyers and then you have the people who registered weeks/months/years later that all of a sudden buy/upgrade out of the blue(which is common).

The time it takes for the numbers to make sense and equal out is about a year of steady traffic.

I am 1/50 for people going from free registration to full paid membership.

Some days from dating sites I get ten sign-ups then I go for a stretch where I get absolutely nothing(companies with custom billing software). It is part of the game.....

I had to pull most of my traffic the other day. Numbers look real bad. I am interested in hearing what Sarah has to say though I believe shes handling the affiliate accounts.

You need to filter your traffic. US/Canada send to a PPS sponsor. All other countries send to a pay per email sponsor.

Well, I guess they do. The city names are all screwed up -- whenever it is a two word city it just shows the first word.

The problem with Swurve, is the name is retarded, I'm really not quite sure what they are thinking.

I'm not giving up on Hookupbucks yet, I know I can convert dating so I made some of my own ads and going to give it another run.

Email sponsors will only pay per email on USA/Canada/UK/AU traffic. (Some email providers pay just on USA only too)

It seems like all dating sponsors are going to shit. I'm hopping from sponsor to sponsor and haven't found one that works for me yet.
