Dear Account Holder,

You are receiving this notice as a reminder regarding the status of your ePassporte Account. Several days ago, you were notified that the cumulative amount of funds in your account had reached US$5,000.00 . As a security measure and for your protection, we request you provide us with the documents outlined below
curious if anyone else has gotten this.

MrBottomTooth 07-05-2010 11:41 AM

I'm pretty sure everyone gets that who keeps that much in there...once you get over a certain limit they send it out.

I would never leave that much in there.

I've already had to send in the photo ID bullshit before, and I have never had anywhere close to 5K in there.

Matyko 07-05-2010 11:48 AM

Yes, very annoying. They already have those docs from me, and after the first one they apologized for the issue.. And today I got two warnings plus a limitation notification as well - however it seems all my limits are normal. Epass should fire the one who is responsible for [mass] abusing their clients...

Jack Sparrow 07-05-2010 12:02 PM

You just got this message?
Amazing.

IllTestYourGirls 07-05-2010 12:05 PM

Nope, I dont keep that much in there. I get my big sponsors to send checks. Fuck having 5k in epass ha.

abshard 07-05-2010 12:08 PM

Yes got 3 emails this morning

Says something about 5 days but they gave me 20min to verify before they put a hold on my account.

People don't seem to realize or maybe dont care that money with epassporte is about a secure as it is with online gambling sites.

You have absolutely no recourse if they decide to screw you or close down shop.

you are correct:thumbsup....whats ironic is that ALOT of webmaster will post how they dont keep much money in there Epass accounts.....everytime somones" loses" some cash or post an amount (like the 5k in this thread) ..webmasters all laugh and say "why did you have that much money in there" "your an idiiot for havin that much money in your epass".....tons of webmasters agree not to keep a significant amount of money in there epass account but then go on to say how reliable and safe and secure the company is .:upsidedow

bdld 07-05-2010 01:46 PM

Who told you it was a mistake? When i called they said i need to send in the doccuments.

Zuzana Designs 07-05-2010 02:10 PM

<--- didn't get that message either. But have had to verify myself several times and epass always does a great job with security measures.

Chosen 07-05-2010 03:01 PM

I thought everyone got this message at least once :)

seeandsee 07-05-2010 03:15 PM

its normal, they want to protect all sides

Adam_M 07-05-2010 04:38 PM

Is it a personal account? I don't think they send them at $5k for a company account as they already have enough info on you

fatfoo 07-05-2010 04:46 PM

I did not get this warning.
It's possible that a big transaction requires more documentation.

Michael O 07-05-2010 06:44 PM

Please send me the UserIDs of your accounts if you got that message then I will ask Tech to look into it asap.

Michael

ya thats what i figured, i usally drain it as soon as it comes in.

amateurcanada 07-05-2010 11:00 PM

automation can lack its luster, i've received similar - mass transfers/high balances are regulated more then smaller.

DateDoc 07-05-2010 11:17 PM

Not in a long time since I faxed them a copy of an electric bill and passport.

Jack Sparrow 07-05-2010 11:25 PM

Ive had up to 40-50k in my epass account and NEVER had any problems getting it out. The only problem i have now is that they are late sending the new epass card.

Verification for amounts over 5k are nothing more then regular. They have rules to follow too you know. Its not a money laundry machine. Get your stuff in line and you wont have problems.

EliteWebmaster 07-06-2010 04:02 AM

Good to know for future reference

The Heron 07-06-2010 06:15 AM

I assumed it was cumulative or something since I've never had more than 500 in there at one time. Just ignored the warning since I've already given them a sperm donation they can verify with that!

Send you email...

opflix 07-07-2010 08:33 AM

epass rocks

bloggerz 07-07-2010 09:16 AM

Well since you have more than 5k in there at one time now you can ask for an increase in your limits -- ATM widthrawal and deposits, etc

fris 07-07-2010 10:04 AM

looks like im not the only one, micahel i left you a msg.

ive already uploaded documents to verify who i am, address, passport etc, but its asking for them again?

Marcus Aurelius 07-07-2010 10:06 AM

You get that message the first time your account reaches $5000 balance.

Then you send the docs, and your account is verified for life.

Just emailed you Michael. I had the same issue and I am pretty sure I have never allowed my balance to grow beyond 5k.

CaptainHowdy 07-07-2010 10:26 AM

JM-cj 07-08-2010 10:38 PM

Hi Michael,
Too have same problem, email sent to you...
thanks!

Raf1 07-10-2010 01:25 AM

I wouldn't keep that much there. Too risky

pumpmenow 07-10-2010 02:47 AM

I have always had problems with epassporte. First I ordered a card and they shipped it to the wrong address. When I asked them to fix it, they said you can pay another $35. So now im $70 into this to use their card. They then send an email saying they have a printing problem with their cards and have no clue when they will fix it but I can pay another $35 to have it fedex when they fix their issues. I finally get my card today and the expiration date is 1/11. WOW, $70 to have a card that expires in 6 months. Their company is a joke. On top of that they use Jettis for their call center to do customer service which is also a joke and doesnt pay merchants. Very irritating company.
