FlowPlayer Help needed
 

I am looking for someone with experience in customizing FlowPlayer. I am using Flowplayer on a tube site of mine, http://www.bdsmplaypen.com, and I am looking for help in two areas, both of which will help me duplicate the feel and functionality of Pornhub.

1. The XML Outroll comes through poorly on my site. These are the dating ad images that come in at the conclusion of a video play. My current ones look crappy and the Geo-Targeting is off. I also want help in adding in midrolls that come in when the video is paused. I am working with FFN, so hopefully you have worked with them before on these.

2. Pornhub's player makes it so that when the user moves the video scrub bar a white label webcam page pops under. I want to get that same effect with my player.

I see you've tried the Marketplace forum on the Flowplayer.org site. It helps if you post a ballpark number you're willing to pay. Too many folks out there want to only spend $20.

All you really need is someone who knows a little JavaScript. You want to look for various Flowplayer events, which will tigger some JavaScript code. For example, to display midroll ads when the player is paused you'd use the onPause and onResume events.

To get a popunder you'd use onSeek, and set a cookie flag so that it only triggers the pop once per visit.

To get content over the Flowplayer window use their content plugin. It accepts HTML and CSS, so you can purdy it up all you want.

If your ad graphics are ugly and geoIP are off that's not a Flowplayer problem. If you're getting the graphics as part of a feed and you're scaling them to fit a window that could look bad.

Like I said, though, this is really just JavaScript involved here. If you have a JS person - much easier to find than Flowplayer developers, you should be able to tackle it in 1-3 hours. Just have your JavaScript guy go here:

Download the content SWF and put it in the same directory as the Flowplayer SWF. Take a look at the example code on this page for how it's done.

Getting to look the way you want is a matter of playing with standard CSS and HTML.

we're just working on some complex FlowPlayer setup and have some stuff that need to be in a hurry, so if you can wait until Thu/Fri next week we can take care of it. However, the geo is coming really bad and it's not FP's fault, but AFF's, so we won't be able to do anything about that, just contact AFF and show them what you have
