G20 Meeting and Protesters..whats the beef?
 

Ive seen several protests over these G20 meetings in the last couple of years and im really not sure what its all about ..Somone please fill me in :helpme

to sum it up it's basically a fight against the exploitive nature of global capitalism. hth

They are sad they are losers that cant make it in life so they destroy peoples property and protest the summit demanding governments steal from people who are willing to work and give it to them.

G20 meetings were created to improve international financial stability.
Politicians say protesters are people who have an inclination for vandalism.

well for some reference, there is a volunteer medic in toronto facing charges of 'concealed weapons' for carrying bandage shears to treat the multiple broken arms, lacerations, and concussions.

They don't really know why they protest. They protest against the very things they take for granted. In short, they're generally hypocrites.

it almost seems to me like when people go to see phish or widesrpead panic..not for the music inside the venue.. but instead for the party and good drugs in ther parking lot.....when the G20 comes to town is it just a good reason to riot and and scream "fuck the police"

I think most of them are just looking for an interesting way to pass the time. Seriously. I bet if you interviewed half of the people there they wouldn't even be able to tell you what they are so angry about.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. They seen a bunch of scary videos on YouTube about the "New World Order", and that's enough to set them off.

They're against globalization though. They're not really sure why, and they all pack around their iPhones while their Twitter and Facebook their friends, but they just don't like it. No problem taking for granted the advantages of globalization, but those scary YouTube videos are pretty convincing!

It's a resistance of Globalization that only benefits the rich. Cykoe6, I went down to check out the protest in Toronto. The people there were just everyday people. Young and Old, black and white and ever other type of people in between. You're just a hateful, ignorant sack of shit.

We're are ruled by a bunch of exploitative evil cocksuckers. It's just a loud enough way of saying "fuck you" so that hey actually hear it.

You should watch some of the videos on youtube of the undercover cops rounding people up by force.

The only thing that irritates me about all this........ is that decent hardworking Canadian taxpayers pay taxes to fund a police force which is unable or unwilling to do its most basic responsibility of keeping public order.

In that photo I see a bunch of corrupt autocrats meeting to consolidate their hold on power and to plan and coordinate the endless expansion of big government and the police state so that they may continue to enrich themselves and their cronies without any interference.
