Do you ever hit the "wall of tired"

Holy moly. I was sitting here working away, enjoying the sun that's finally overcome my usually grey locale, and all of a sudden: smash. I feel like I haven't slept for a month. Twenty minutes ago, I was just fine, ready to rock and roll. Now? I want to go to bed for the night.

What the hell causes this? Anyone else ever hit the wall?

I usually get up at noon, and then work into the morning. I'm pretty sure it's terrible for my psyche, because I do sooo much better when I'm up at 7 or 7:30 in the morning. But once I've screwed my sleep schedule up, it's nearly impossible to fix.

Also I tend to sleep for 9 hours a night. Or more. D:

The summer sun makes you lazy......ahaha. Just kidding. After a while I spent on a sun and have a few beers have the same feeling :thumbsup

I will spend too many hours in front of my computers when I suddenly get smacked with TIRED. It's then when I will take a break and check out GFY and have a good stress-cry. I'll then have a snooze or go outside for a bike ride or jog to wake up. If I don't do either of those I'll wolf down a Red Bull or two, liver damage be damned!

Sounds like you are burned out and need some time off.

I'm always there. I never sleep. I got 2.5 hours in the past 48 not on purpose and I can't say that's much of a deviation from the norm. :( I feel like crying.

this seems like a less than ideal... idea.

Do you drink lots of coffee or energy drinks like red bull? That would do it to ya. Temporary high & boost of energy, then you crash.

I was wondering the same. You can't artificially keep yourself wide awake forever.

Either that or did you just eat a big meal because that can make you tired.

It's beating my ass today.

I decided to work out again after a call out of normal hours related to a network issue - and I overdid it. Was too goddamn sore to sleep; gave up on sleeping in bed at about 3aml, and finally ended up crashing on the couch at about 5am for 2 hours.

Today's going to be fun, fun, fun!
