What blogging scripts / software do you use and recommend?

Is Wordpress still the way to go?

how about running multiple blogs from one engine?

What are your thoughts and recommendations on blogging platforms now days?

With the multi-user part of wordpress enabled.

Yep,WP has tons of Plug-ins to help with your blog. They also have a WP Tube Script Plug-in. We are building new WP Themes, should be available soon. There are some great tutorials out there to help get you started.

I use Wordpress for most of my blogs as there are so many great plugins and themes available. Wordpress is also great in regards to SEO. The only other blogging software I use besides Wordpress is Textpattern. For really simple sites or blogs I sometimes use Textpattern as it is sometimes much easier to customize then Wordpress when it comes to the layout of your blog and it is a very minimal blogging software suite.

Because everybody uses WP it has the most features and is the most up2date blog software.. It always makes sense :)
