Their next project will be to fly a smaller version across the Atlantic and then to fly around the World.

About the same wingspan as a 747.

Speaking about planes,it's really irritating why air transportation in 21st century is still so expensive,so i hope this will work and reduce a.t. prices to normal level.

i read an interview of the pilot the other day, very cool technology.

That's a huge wingspan to basically just carry 1 man.

and that is useful for what? just a dust of sand in sahara, cant use it for real...

hopefully will be changes in the flight business( cheaper tickets)........

Solar energy is great for reducing pollution.
Can the solar plane fly? The test results will show.

What a beautiful experiment!

This can be also used to build space ships for colonization since you cant use gas in space.

nice to see they're working on these things. Hopefully in some time they're going to be more usefull

That is very cool. would not want to be the guinea pig to find out how long it can fly at night though. lol
