Can you trust pimproll?

I asked for a list of programs to promote and I signed up through someone's link. I listed my site gamingaffiliatesguide but have many more. I forgot about the signup then I got a rejection email saying my site doesn't promote porn. So I wrote back to explain in further detail that I'm referring other affiliates to their program working off of the sub affiliate commission.

I didn't get any response in over a week so I guess either I wasn't important or the AM is just lazy or nobody answers emails much there. I got another email back shortly after posting on another thread about PM if someone could get back to me. They did asking the same question they did before, meaning they didn't read my previous email. I did explain as well that I'm starting my own blog network and I didn't see the reason of making this application so difficult when they don't respond on time or don't take the time to read my emails, otherwise they shouldn't be asking a question I answered in detail. So I wrote back repeating again the info in the previous email but said I don't think this is going to work out so good luck. I get this response that doesn't come with a person's name. See message history:

"coach affiliates without a working example to show them of your own?

Good luck yourself."

I wonder if Pimproll is in the business of making money or enemies. My impression is they are not in the business of making money. I am done wasting my time with trying to promote this program so because I received that last unsigned email, I thought I would share my experience with them.

On a positive note I have found a few other programs easier to work with and an AM that answers in a timely manner.

one of the few i trust.

your request sounds shady.

StickyGreen 07-08-2010 02:31 PM

Congrats......

Jdoughs 07-08-2010 02:31 PM

I would say they are right on point turning that application down.

Klen 07-08-2010 02:35 PM

Well, some programs generally don't like affiliates which signup just for picking up refferal commission.

gaffg 07-08-2010 02:36 PM

It's ok. Anyone is free to promote whomever they want. If they weren't so rude about it I wouldn't have bothered to let anybody know. I see how they respond, ... eventually so am happy to promote another program

No one gives a shit about whatever it is that you're talking about...

bdld 07-08-2010 02:38 PM

have sites, send sales, show proof. don't have it? that's your problem.

Agent 488 07-08-2010 02:38 PM

go promote someone else then. no one gives a fuck.

Agent 488 07-08-2010 02:39 PM

you are a pain in the ass already and you're not even an affiliate.

I would have denied your application as well because it's against most program's TOS to be promoted from gaming sites.

I also would not have approved your account until you could provide me with a working, porn-related URL that is constructed and functional.

PR is just protecting their program.

fris 07-08-2010 02:42 PM

one of the respected programs out there, you dont have to worry about being paid or contacting them to be paid.

one of the few you can still say that for.

I'm not an affiliate, but I've sold content to Pimproll many times, and find them to be extremely honest.

icymelon 07-08-2010 02:59 PM

pimproll has good support nice to actually be able to hit up a program on icq and get a response.

colin farrell 07-08-2010 03:01 PM

i dont fucking trust anyone. if you do in a faceless money making environment you're nuts.

Darkcrni 07-08-2010 03:03 PM

18teens 07-08-2010 07:00 PM

Very trustworthy program.

charlie g 07-08-2010 07:09 PM

Same, nothing but good things for PR. One of the few programs I believe does not shave....

Chosen 07-08-2010 08:37 PM

They're good :)

Relentless 07-08-2010 08:54 PM

Have done very well with Pimproll for years. If you can't make money with them YOU are doing something wrong. They are one of the few truly inovative sponsors these days.

Hell you could have registered some domains and pointed them to the Pimproll parked page system to promote them... how could it be any easier, they practically hand you porn training-wheels...

Yes PR can be trusted.
Speaks volumes that you dont even seem to know anything about them actually.

papill0n 07-08-2010 11:20 PM

we got your application and you were denied for being a stupid fuck

raven1083 07-09-2010 01:24 AM

I think that says it all.
PR are a good program. Although I don't completely trust anyone in the internet biz.

Maybe you should leave the thinking to the people that know what they are talking about :2 cents:
