Advice on mainstream stuff to blog about
 

I was wondering what are some good things to blog about if you're looking to start up a few mainstream blogs? I'm thinking about starting about 1 mainstream blog and setting up google adsense and the usual stuff and see how it does but I'm having a hard time figuring out what I want to blog about. For those that have ventured into mainstream blogging, what do you usually blog about?

research high paying adsense keywords.

I seriously think anything that has anything to do with cute animals and babies and jokes will get you good results. Follow what Youtube has done.

Haha okay thanks guys those were some good tips :) I guess I'll try something dealing with tropical fish or something along those lines and see how it goes!

I say stay local. If you live in a big city blog about stuff in your city. I made two local blogs and they do fairly well. Content is easy to get, you know your area and its something you love. If you don't care about fish or puppies then working/updating the blog will become a chore and you'll forget about it.

I think the local idea is a great idea. The key to this is probably keeping it updated constantly I would imagine. Let's keep the ideas rolling here. :)
