Which monitors are better ? CRT or LCD
 

which ones give better picture ?
which ones aren't bad for eyes ?

I just got an Samsung 171s the other day and wasn't too amazed at the difference. Mind you I prefer 800x600 meanwhile it recommends 1024x768.

Looks great on the desk though :)

I have a 19" Samsung SyncMaster 959NF CRT and it rocks!

LCD are cool if you don't have enough space and you don't care about the price.

I would like to know this as well, if LCD monitors have zero or very low radiation (for the eyes) as compared to CRT ...

I dont care about the money, and i just love how little space LCDs use. Just not sure about pic quality - i think i heard someone saying that CRTs got better pic quality.

I want some 19" LCD

I'm sold on Viewsonics. Their CRT display images with great contrast, ultra high brightness, and crystal clear text. They make nice LCD's also, but I still prefer CRT's.

I have a 19" LCD... Samsung SyncMaster 191T... It rocks!

This LCD is easy on the eyes... weighs just 13 pounds and runs at 1280 x 1024 Native... BUT... you can PIVOT the monitor and run it at 1024 X 1280! The 191T is elegant as well with a frame bezel of about 3/4 inch... slim and trim.
