So..Toyota drivers are officially utter fucking morons

Early Tests Pin Toyota Accidents on Drivers

The U.S. Department of Transportation has analyzed dozens of data recorders from Toyota Motor Corp. vehicles involved in accidents blamed on sudden acceleration and found that the throttles were wide open and the brakes weren't engaged at the time of the crash, people familiar with the findings said.

The early results suggest that some drivers who said their Toyotas and Lexuses surged out of control were mistakenly flooring the accelerator when they intended to jam on the brakes.

Everything seems as if it's always got to be someone elses fault now. Wonder how the court cases will go with all the people who sued Toyota?

More frequently the issue is the driver's capability, rather than a mistake in the machine.

I bet the owners are just bullshitting it, trying to avoid the heavy insurance costs.

Years ago, I span a toyota out on a roundabout..... That was most certainly my heavy foot though ;) Boy racers.... tut tut.

its most likely because women, Asians, old people and people from new jersey love Toyota/Lexus... which are the worst drivers :2 cents:

Especially camry drivers with a nondescript beige color for a car. In fact they are usually the worst drivers out there... the above findings support that LOL.

I have never had a problem with my toyota and will buy another one. I think they were saying something about the pedal getting stuck under the carpet? I can believe that since the carpet in my car seems to be a little too big and gaps on the side.
