Youtube stating today that Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber's "2" videos have 500mm views between them. WTF? Both can't sing and 500mm views? wow... amazing times we live in

Wtf do you expect? You don't see how fucking stupid our society is today for the most part? They are absolutely hypnotized by the media machine... they idolize all these douchebags that the entertainment corporations throw in their faces. I've now seen her LIVE on t.v. a couple of times. And that bitch is talented. She sat down at the piano by herself and played and sang like a motherfucker.

Elton John is a MONSTER. And I agree she's not close to him. BUT, having said that: the girl CAN sing and play. I'm not "amazed" by it. But if you watch that vid you hear that she is a damn good singer and piano player with blues roots that you wouldn't have guessed listening to her pop songs.

She's definitely not a talentless pop tart like Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson. GaGa could play piano and sing with most any real live band. That is kinda rare these days with all the shit talentless "artists" who can't sing at all and have no idea how to play a musical instrument.

So it makes me happy to see somebody having that much commercial success who actually DOES have talent. Is she as good as Elton John? Hell no! But how many people are?

Or discussing alleged "musicians" either. I love it. I'm just saying that Lady GaGa has talent. If you don't think so, then who cares? You can watch the vid I put a link up for and make an informed decision as to whether she's better than you thought or if you still think she sucks for whatever reason. Again, who gives a shit. I just enjoy talking music and thought I'd point out that when I saw her perform live on t.v. I was shocked because I had a preconceived idea about her that turned out to be wrong. And when I'm wrong, I admit it.

EDIT: By the way, I don't own any Lady GaGa records nor do I go out of my way to hear that kind of music.
My current "new" favorite album that I'm playing and re-playing every time I get in my car is the new remastered version of "Exile On Mainstreet" by The Rolling Stones. In my opinion it's the greatest rock record of all times.

Lady Gaga is pretty talented. I didn't like her much until I saw her on SNL. She was great.
