I think a handjob will suffice. A great gift to give. Easy on your pocket and will release all of his tension before the big day. The bride will thank you.

I blew alot on him at his bachelor party btw in Vegas few weeks ago... dont know if this matters?

I'm sure you have the room, don't worry. It won't hurt too much.

I thought you said you Blew him a lot at his bachelor party. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

It all depends on your financial situation, but I would think $500.00 - $1000.00 is fair.
But then again, you aren't his best man, just a groomsman.

I was in a wedding back in April and my gift was $200. They say it depends on how big and where the wedding will take place. I was told that any where from $100-$300 so I did $200.

Open bar makes all the difference in the world. If you and your guest drink what would be a $500 bar bill and a nice dinner $1000 is good. If its a crap dinner and cash bar, you decide.

Hello, the suggested total amount you should give for this wedding is $140

aubreythree 07-22-2010 01:25 AM

140bucks might get a decent gift

baddog 07-22-2010 01:38 AM

Like they said, depends on the event. Where is it at, what are you being fed, open bar?

PersianKitty 07-22-2010 03:23 AM

umbralui 07-22-2010 04:40 AM

important is to be present .. not to go with gifts.. fuck gifts.. i hate them

ottopottomouse 07-22-2010 05:18 AM

I prefer to give something someone actually wants rather than a random amount of cash.

Based on my brother's wedding-

seems a bit cheap.

LongBG 07-22-2010 05:20 AM

It all depends on how many whores he shouted you before the big day.

The standard is to cover the cost of your plate, but that's probably a good rule to follow if you're not family or good friends.

And I've known people here in Rochester to pay under $15 a plate for their reception, so I'd feel like a cheap ass for following that rule here.
