Ok I hate showing my nerd side - but has anyone else other than me been watching Doctor Who? I am actually starting to get addicted again as I was back in the 70's.

YES! incredible show, very funny. I watch it every week and the old ones on weekdays to get caught up on everything... geek away!

Doctor What ??

yep started watching when tom baker was the doc, and i did like alot of the david tennant episodes- very well written.
havent seen the new doc episodes yet-

The new doctor is different in a lot of ways - takes some getting use to but the writing is awesome. It's basically a geeks soap opera and honestly I am tired and miss Stargate - the new Universe simply doesn't do it for me anymore.

The new companion Amelia Jessica Pond (Karen Gillan) is incredibly hot as well

yup, i've been watching the newer dr. who shows for a while now, also saw most of torchwood til it was canceled

Love Doctor Who, never missed an episode, Hey does that make me a nerd, who cares I like the new assitant Miss Pond shes a breath of fresh air. Im getting withdrawal symptoms now the next episode is the Christmas Special. needs some re runs to get my fix!

I watched torchwood too and really enjoyed when they combined the characters from both shows... brilliant! The new dr is very different from the one Tennat did but he is growing on me. I have always enjoyed shows from across the pond but Dr Who really took me by surprise

I guess Doctor Who and Torchwood fans are also trekkies, I love any fiction which involves space and time travel. need my fix every week.

In Canada they have the Space network showing Dr Who - star trek etc. daily so it's nice to get my fix that way

It hasn't been cancelled but something worse has happened. Its now going to be co-produced by an american company and some of the stories will now be set in america. The kiss of death on any British TV programme is to try and pander to amerian audiences..

Love The Doctor. Also excited about seeing Steven Moffat's take on a present day Sherlock Holmes.
