any smart program will can your account or turn you over to revshare

paysite reviews are not the worst retaining.
However because the review sites push the reduced priced monthly memberships & make out cross sells to be evil their joins are less profitable that the average $1 trial join, with average retention & an average amount accepting the cross etc.
However they send joins and they are profitable so long live the big review sites :)

so what is it then tube traffic?

Agent 488 07-27-2010 07:43 AM

tube traffic retains the best.

TeenCat 07-27-2010 07:44 AM

there is very few review sites that are honest. most are pushing shit and lying to get sales and most money. its like with any other type of promotion, depends on people who are doing it :)

the more targeted traffic the better the conversions and retention. Retention has to do with whether or not the surfer feels like they bought what was advertised. I think the advert has a lot more to to with retention then the source.

In the case of review sites if their review is honest points out the true pros AND cons of the site then the new member will get what they expect and will continue to be a member.

This boils down to logistics. Most affiliate programs use a cookie to track who you are beyond your initial visit. Most expire in 1-7 days. Generous programs allow for 30 days. Its all a numbers game - important questions to ask when you do a PPS program ;)

Surfers who forget to cancel retain the best.

Spot on. :thumbsup

I would think, sites that promise too much and deliver too little retain the worse. What ever the source.

Chat traffic? CL ads?

SykkBoy 07-28-2010 09:43 AM

chat traffic because once a guys buys, he gets pounded to death by the chatter over and over and over to the point where his bank has to step in...
