I pay upfront the money because he made some jobs to me in past (always off the time), and thought he was a respected member here on gfy.
Im trying contact him without sucess and he is allways off to me on icq.

what is the 400 for? PLease tell me its not for a video ....

the video provided could be made in no longer than 20 minutes... tops... thats with downloading original clip and all... Its almost like a silent movie...

$400 for a trailer?

I used a guy recently and paid $100. About a one minute trailer. It was a little different than what you are looking for, but $400 for a trailer seems a little... 1999?

I can see where the $400 went. It takes a high level skillset to make it look very grainy like that. Also those large white letters over a black background are stunning.

Seriously though, when it said "what are you waiting for?" I almost busted out laughing. Probably the worst promo video I have ever seen.

I mean, unless of course youre only supplied with one video to use... wouldnt you cut multiple scenes into a trailer for a voyeur site?

You might have had a point, had Headless not pulled the same exact shit a few times before.

Personally it doesn't matter to me if Jason(or anyone for that manner) did it 50 times before in a textbook manner, there is just something shady to me about only posting half a convo in a "where's my money drama" thread.

You've been here long enough to know how these threads sometimes turn out, someone comes in and plays the hero does the 'job' for free, OR, hands some money over to look like the hero, so whats to stop anyone from picking a nick that's been gone for a bit, may or may not have had past 'drama' and making an "I got fucked" thread

Not defending, or dawning a tin-foil hat here, this just feels off to me.

I did not catch there that he was given one video and that quality.

I do take my comments back about that. So many times i get crap from a client and am expected to produce gold. If healdess was given that one video... well thats fucked up. SHould have just had it play without the silent movie additives though. That just wrecked it for me.

I also wondered why the whole conversation wasnt posted with the client's replies.

Also, do your homework here on designers before committing to prepaid designs. I do understand that you have worked with Headless before. But he is known for his low level efforts and unreliability.

Short synopsis, Headless took $400 for a crappy trailer so he could pay the $400 rent on his trailer.
