Back from Greece (Pics)
 

It's been a great time in Greece, like it has always been. A must visit country for sure.

It does not notice the financial problems the country has. Sure, we're talking about a country that mainly lives by tourism, so it makes sense not to, but still, we've been by car and seen half the country and even though they do have real problems, overall the situation is under control and everything is running smoothly. At least by September, when from what i have heard they prepare lots of strikes.

Went to Lefkada, "island in the Ionian Sea on the west coast of Greece, connected to the mainland by a long causeway and floating bridge", Kefalonia, "the largest of the Ionian Islands in western Greece, with an area of 350 sq. miles" and Thessaloniki, which is Greece second largest city after Athens.

Beautiful pictures. Love the last pic the most. Clear waters and awesome sky view.

love the fact the sea is so clear there! we were a few miles out on a speedboat just a few weeks ago and the sea was still so crystal clear!

No, not ruined, i don't think so. They're probably just waiting for the summer season to pass until they start the strikes, but i doubt there will be violence and if will be, it will hopefully be held under control. I would not worry, but careful if i visit any country during strikes.

Parakalo. Where you at in Greece? We'll be visiting Thessaloniki again in August for a week-end get away. Maybe we can drink a beer or two.

I would visit a beautiful country, even if it's a trillion dollars in debt.

I went there a couple of summers ago and couldn't believe how hot it was. Nothing beats vising touristy places while it's 110F :1orglaugh

I would always go to Greece. It is near my country and I am still considering going there this summer but I need a place that is not filled with tourists,I need distant bays and almost empty plazas.

It was great. Two weeks of chill out time, no work, just sea, mountains and sun.
