CONTEST Kryptonbulbs.com getting a facelift... looking for a logo

Kryptonbulbs.com is getting a facelift, we are changing over to Opencart CMS (you can see the opencart platform at proHIDkit.com) I am in the middle of getting all the products and whatnot setup so I figured I would post a thread over here and see if I could get some action.

I am looking for a Logo, I know there is alot of talented PS guys over here so I figured I see if anybody wants a chance at winning a free set of HID's.

I will give a Free set of HID's to the person who designs the logo I choose to put up on the site.

Having a car with bright clear headlights possibly with a tint of blue would be great. Needs to say "KryptonBulbs.com" (I want the B capitalized) I am open to anything though, have some fun, if you feel the need add a slogan. Hope to see some entries...

You need someone to just re-design your whole site. Blue text on a black background may be the single worst offense in web design. Invest some money in that site and you may actually see a return from it. You obviously aren't now if you are offering up headlights as a prize. :1orglaugh

We have been working with Opencart for a while. If you need help, hit me up.

Are you still own towards Hilton?

Actually I do see a decent return from it, I want it to be a bigger return. The Redesign will really help it out alot. Just need a nice logo to top it off. Its easy to skin.

Oh, and Candy, do you have any experiance messing with the OC templates? Is that any place with any decent how to's that I could look into? Just kinda curious what it will take to change some of the colors up from the default settings, other than that I dont really want to mess with too much. I did buy a nice skin (in part) with a logo slot at the top but after really looking at it I didnt like the rest of the template.

I havent even really spent any time looking for any how to's on it as I am working on the products and whatnot now.

Where were you located again man?

A clean logo and less cellpadding could go a long way, GL.

Trust me, I know, I suck LOL

up until this point I have never used a CMS

I am however #1 for google search term "blue headlights" which accounts for 40% of my traffic.

I simply couldnt grasp the concept of how to use a CMS until someone actually showed my on skype. I had been trying to install one to a website but wasnt having any luck even getting it uploaded. Once I did finally get one uploaded and started playing with it after seeing the skype demo it became very clear to me that I can handle this no problem. With the skills I do have and the tools provided by CMS I know I have opened a new chapter in my web development career.

I have been making money on the internet since 2005, has it made me rich? NO but it has definately helped out. I put the down payment on my house with internet money, bought a $17000 truck with internet money, put all the gas in mine and my old ladys cars with internet money, buy all groceries with internet money new quad, pay the cell bills, quite a bit really. So all in all, I do pretty well, I bring in profit of between 500 and 1000 a week. Its nothing to shake a stick at. I also work full time as a Maintenance Supervisor at a local factory of which I was just informed that they plan to move me to Maintenance Manager when the current manager retires. That is what takes care of the rest (mortgage, utilities and so on) Also my old lady doesnt work.

I would not be where I am today without the "shitty" sites I have made up until now.

Currently I am bringing in new HID kits from China which I will be selling between $50 and $70 a kit (Lowest price shipped I have found on the internet). Currently I am selling lesser quality kits for $125 - $200 shipped. This is what has prompted me to get my site up into 2010. I already have 7 kits preordered and paid for and I have verbal (or PM'bal) agreements for about 15 more kits on the forums that I advertise at.

I do plan to update everything I do as well as start some new ventures as well now that I have opened this chapter.

you'd probably get more submissions on a $50 reward than a hid kit

btw, check this, might find it useful :)

..and just find someone to customize it slightly, logo etc
